I wish it was Curry, but he was steadfast in stating it was Ellis, not Curry.

I'm one of the few that would prefer Ellis. I wouldn't do the deal, but I won't be devastated if it goes down.

I would be absolutely livid if we traded Bogut for Ellis.

I don't hate it actually. A Monta/Jennings backcourt would be great to watch. Kwame is a big expiring. Udoh is probably nothing, but may be worth a flier.

If we trade Bogut for Ellis . . .

TS% of .516 this year. .535 for his career.

He'll fit right in.

I don't get why anyone would be upset with that trade.

So we get back Kwame's expiring, Ellis' through next year probably and then he most likely opts out after, same with Udoh. Even if they don't opt out, we'd have a good back court for a couple of years.

This trade would essentially give us a fresh start after 2012-2013 most likely. Isn't that what everyone wants?

Dude STFU

Why do people who come on here to post insider info get attacked?

I know this poster and believe he would not come on here and post faulty info.

if he shared, it's because he was allowed to.

Just take the info at face value and believe what you want to believe on here.

Change Ellis to Curry and I think thats close to the best case scenario for us (being realistic).

A large expiring, a talented young player and a cheap scrub for Bogut and Jackass. I can't see them taking Jackson back though, given the way in which he left GSW last time...

No.

That's not what you want? Then you're delusional.

If you think a trade of a chronically injured 27 year old middle of the pack center is going to get you back win now pieces that we can actually go anywhere with, you're out of your mind.

Trading Bogut is the first step in building a winning team, and what you get back is not the important part unless it's a draft pick, just getting rid of him and not taking on more bad contracts is.

1. Why would we want to trade Bogut for expirings? He's got more value than that.

2. Ellis and Jennings isn't a good back court.

3. Gooden is still on the roster when all that is over.
