Embiid will be a better player than Drummond. Far more skilled.

That's bold man, I'll give you that. It's still too early for me to really commit to Embiid.

It was bold of me to have Drummand at number 2 overall last season when many here hated him and it was bold of me to compare Embiid's skillset to Duncans early on in this thread, but I don't regret either.

Definitely down to Embiid or Wiggins. Might switch to Embiid very soon, but I'm worried what Hammond/Morway do when trading Sanders.

Hey I'm cool with it and like the boldness. I'm still looking around but he sure looks good.

Haven't watched anything on Emblid yet. However, if he has the ability put forth by several here you take the true center for this team. The Bucks need that combination of bulk and skill that they don't get with Sanders and Henson.

I'm still very high on Parker. Wiggins may be fools gold. Marcus Smart would be a better compliment to this team than Wiggins imo. The Bucks need a gaurd that can get anywhere on the court and look to "create" for his teammates. Guys like Sanders, Henson and Ilyasova would be soooo much better with a guard that penetrates and creates consistently.

1a. Emblid
1b. Parker
3. Smart
4. Wiggins
5. Randle

Wiggins and smart havent showed, yet, that they can rake over games.

right now I still have Jabari as tthe #1 with Embiid #2

knight middleton giannis jabari sanders
I thimk m.g.j. could all switch on d and bring the ball up
not sure enough play making (assists) can come from this group

wolters mayo delfino ersan henson zaza miroslav
2nd round pick
2 spots left to fill, pg and sg

Smart can take over a game but that's not how he plays. He does what's necessary for his team to win and if that means a big scoring night, he can definitely that.

This is a bit of a Jack Morris Hall of Fame argument, now? Smart is shooting .315 from behind the arc with 4 assists per game.

I will wholeheartedly grant that Wiggins has disappointed so far. Hell, I just changed my vote to Embiid. But Smart has about 30 *BUST* red flags.

So does Wiggins...... For those who knock on Smart's skill level, Wiggins is even lower.

No he doesn't. Smart is one of the most solid guys in the draft. Still okst just lost their center for the season and that's rough for that team.

If he can truly play point in the nba, Orlando would be the absolute perfect fit for him.

Did Parker's votes seriously go up after his most recent game?

I've been locked on Embiid for a month now. I highly highly recommend anyone who hasn't seen him play a complete game: Do so. IMHO, he is hands down the best pick in this draft. The most complete pick. With, potentially, the most upside. If we land number 1 and we pass on him I will be very very disappointed.

Then where are Wiggins "bust" red flags? That's my point.

For the sake of argument, let's say Wiggins does everything Smart does, but only worse.

Smart will never be 6'8" with a 7' wingspan and a 90" vertical and quickness flowing out from all directions.

No more tourneys. The national team haven't confirmed their schedule but with Worlds later in the year they might play some games in June, but not sure he'd get a lot of minutes. I expect they're more likely to play through July on a tour if Europe.

What good is that athleticism with his current skill set? That's what needs to be discussed and is STILL being glossed over. Your athleticism becomes a major tool when it can be taken advantage of with skill set. Smart has some pretty large holes in his current skill set and Wiggins are even larger. Thus, when saying Smart has all of these "bust flags" it must also be acknowledged that Wiggins has quite a few of his own.

Smart's worst case is Flynn. Wiggins worst case is... Desmond Mason, maybe?

Smart's size and physicality puts him on an entirely different plane than Flynn. Completely different playing styles as a result. In playing style, Mason isn't a bad comparison, although Wiggins would have more versatility on the defensive end because of his size. As far as floor, I'd be looking at Rodney Stuckey.

As I've stated before, I'm not a huge Smart fan, but you're acting like Smart has all of these flags whereas other players do not.
