I posted these on the general board for those who haven't watched him to get a taste of his playmaking/creating ability, but I figured the folks on this board wouldn't mind rewatching either. Going to eventually make a HL reel of this type for him, once I get some time and figure out how to do it.

Awesome. Most of those aren't included in like say a Dawkins highlight since they don't result in scores, but wow.

The handle, the court awareness...To my eye, this guy has at least some chance to be a generational type of player, unlike what's his face.

That 4th clip is sick. At his height? Making that play?

Yeah, this is the stuff that has me most excited. Magic Giannis. I just took out a few of the drives where he drew fouls in the Mavs game to keep it more to just his passing skills.

The kid has exceeded every expectation I had before the year started. And we're just now into January.

One thing I would like to see is him taking 10 shots per game. This 3-4 shots per game is non-sense. We have no alpha scorers on this team. There's no reason for him not to take at least 10.

The thing is, he is a smart player who isn't going to force it, he'd rather make the right pass. And because he doesn't touch the ball nearly enough in the half court *cough*KNIGHT*cough, there just isn't really the opportunity for him to do it in the natural flow of the game, given his style of play.

Yeah, I really hope we don't consider trading Larry. At this point it would probably hit Giannis pretty hard.

I thought it was ridiculous to toss around the "Magic" comparison so early. I was drunk and did it myself last night.
After watching that highlight package again, the comparison is not that crazy. Scary to think that Giannis is longer, quicker, and more athletic than Magic ever was.
