I prefer that to when they tout some stupid stat as big news after a loss.

I remember the days were we would look horrible in the preseason and maybe sneak out 1 or 2 wins. Anyone with any optimism would justify it as "Just the preseason" and, "We're just playing with lineups, once the rotation is set, we'll be a top 6 seed".

We flat out ran through fools this preseason with hodge podge rotations and a handful of new players. If healthy, this team is going to embarrass a lot of teams this season.

Yeah, the Bucks could get a lot of players for a 1st that aren't worth a 1st.

Jones is a v weird player, btw. Extremely undersized 4 in college, has that unteachable rebounding knack, some grab and go ability, pretty good passer. Should be a fun add to the Herd. Very bad shooter.

Eh the herd look like they’d struggle to beat a good college team again this season smh, zero nba caliber guys

Mason's an NBA player but I'll allow his exclusion if you think, like I do, that his two way is more of a one way 45 day NBA contract.

Disagree. Think this will be the Herd’s best season by a substantial margin.

Assuming they sign Tucker it might be the most fun team they've ever had too.

Would also add kind of on the side of the conversation that some of the best G League players are not and will never be NBA players. There's something askew about the G League -- teams experiment more. The NBA is not a direct leap.

True on the player front, but the best teams are often the ones that most directly parallel their parent clubs. It’s why year after year the better run NBA teams tend to have affiliates atop the league & competing for the title.

I really enjoy reading this Forum. You guys are some amazing Bucks Fans. I think the Bucks Forum has the most users of any team. Is that true?

I am super excited about this season. The team looks so talented and deep with great personalities too. Hope I can go to a few games if one can find good deals on tickets which I am sure wont be easy.

I am only worried about 1 position. Starting PG. Eric Bledsoe is a great competitor and an above average PG. My concern is about the post season. Two years of the same mental mistakes makes me believe it will likely happen again. I think we should consider other options. Sooner rather then later as many contenders will be targeting the same players we would want closer to the deadline. They will likely be able to offer better assets than we can.

I have given this a lot of thought. I think the player who puts us over the top and who is available is Danilo Gallanari. I think we should try to move out Bledsoe and target Gallanari. I think a starting line up of George Hill, Kris Middleton, Danilo Gallanari, Giannis, and Brook Lopez would outclass any starting 5 in the league. With the depth of our Bench, I think the only way we lose games is if we beat ourselves.

I know many will say that leaves us thin at PG. I kind of agree. However, Donte can give us quality minutes there and using Giannis at the point a little more often would suffice in my opinion. The main thing this does is insure that every other Bucks player not named Giannis will be able to shot 3 pointers at a 35% or higher clip. This will devastate opponents. I also believe Giannis will improve to 36 to 37 percent on his own from three.

To make this happen, Bledsoe and DJ Wilson will have to part of some three team trade. Some examples might be:
Bucks in: Danilo
Bucks Out: Bledsoe, Wilson

Denver in: Bledsoe
Denver out: Gary Harris

Thunder in: Gary Harris, DJ Wilson
Thunder Out: Danilo

Other options as part of three way where Chris Paul goes to either Detroit, Miami or Orlando. Those are the only teams I think that might take a flyer on Chris Paul.

Its fun to be here!!!!!

I was probably the world's biggest Jem Jones fan even before the Bucks signed him. He's not just a real good rebounder, he's probably the world's best 6'5-6'6 and under 200 lbs rebounder - ever, and I do mean ever. His rebounding stats are literally unbelievable. Yes, he has an issue with shooting, but he's actually a very good passer and an excellent defender - so he's not completely one dimensional. Plus he made 2 3's when he got some chance to play in the Wiz exhibition game against China, so maybe he can develop into a 3 and D wing. I think the Zards made a mistake in letting him go, and he's going to show that in Milwaukee.

Yeah I did forget about Mason, he’s an nba level 3rd PG but we have so few ball handlers that I’m assuming that he will be kept with the Bucks as much as possible until we can work a trade for Ersan and give his roster spot to mason.

I suppose I would agree IF it’s going to be the Mason and Bender show but I don’t see any reason for that, better development keeping them with the Bucks. Not to keep derailing this thread but did we even hire a coach yet?
