I was super down we lost Brogdan. I still think he’s a good player. Seems like since Olandipo got back he hasn’t been the same?

Need to thank Herb Simon for being the John Hammond of owners.

He's a good player but a role player. Thus, he needs to be in certain situations to accentuate his strengths (driving to the basket, PnR with a big that can hit shots outside the lane, assassin from three if left open and time to get his shot off) and hide his weaknesses (chasing quick guards around screens, super slow release, needs the ball in his hands for a large portion of the shot clock to get his own shot, previous injury concerns would dictate his playing time should be limited in the mid-20s per game when right now Martin is playing more minutes than anyone on the Bucks).

Dipo is clearly not fully back. Him and Brogdon are a bad fit as they both are better with the ball in their hands. Dipo benefits more from an up-tempo style. Brogdon loves to play a slow, half-court pace. Neither one is especially good at defending quick guards right now (Dipo had a good reputation pre-injury, I believe).

Combine that with a coach who does not care at all about efficiency and a not super talented roster and you've got yourselves a classic treadmill team with second round ceiling. Dipo's injury severely limited that ceiling.

First thing: where's Hammy picking.

Second: surely you guys can pump out some sweet mix tapes for the socials? Makur posting up an empty gym, hitting a few threes in a row, blocking an unathletic trainer type?

According to a rule I just made up, if you get vastly outplayed by a 6'1", 120lbs. 17yo greek PG on his 2nd euroleague career game you have to postpone your draft declaration for a year. Yes, I am talking about you Theo Maledon.

Indiana is 2-8 in their last ten. Yikes. Wheels are about to come off. Not sure they’ll catch the bottom two in the East, but they have a chance to finish with a worse record than the 8th seed In the west.

In fairness, a lot of those games were against very good teams, but last night's loss was brutal - Toronto had their way with them. Toronto's getting overlooked a bit this season.

Not sure if this will hurt or help IND, but Jeremy Lamb is now out for the season after tearing his ACL last night.

Potential increasing we lose the pick this year?

I don’t think there’s any chance we lose the pick. Would love to see the odds of that. I think Orlando is five or six games under .500 atm.

Edit: Indiana is 9 games up on Orlando who is 3-7 in their last ten.

Lost Jeremy Lamb. Feel sorry about the injury and glad we haven't had to deal with such things.

Plus Kyrie's out for the year. If anyone's dropping into the lottery, it'd probably be the Nets, not the Pacers.

Nets are better without kyrie. Hopefully they go on a streak and catch the Pacers.

Realistically, we clinched the playoffs 12-15 games ago.

I think he's got a great foundation. All around skillset, good length/athleticism, good instincts defensively, quick/active hands, consistent effort level/engagement. He's wiry strong and doesn't back down to bigger players. I think a sustained professional training and diet program would make him pretty formidable.
