Although not sexy...My favorite trade I have seen is Ellington for DJW and a 2nd. Gets us another vet and under the Luxury cap for another year. maybe would even allow for the addition of a buyout player.

Where we are cap wise...its seems like its next to impossible to do much significant.

Does that work salary cap wise, given the $2mm difference in salaries?

This fixes quite a few of the Bucks current issues, gives them wing defenders with length and adds additional size and rim protection. Leaves a buyout slot open and some money to work with.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

Just gift somewhere with cap space DJ Wilson and sign Noah Vonleh and Diakite to minimum multiyear, team options contracts.

That's really poor roster management. Diakite could only sign a 2 year deal right now, so he'd be a FA after next season. You won't find a 2 way player as good as him this year. He's eligible to play the rest of the season just like a rostered player, and we retain his rights in the offseason, when we could sign him to a 2-4 year deal.

DJW will be key to any deal that lands a playoff rotation player, just need to stay patient.

Again, there aren't question marks around his work ethic. There's nothing shady about wanting out of the Knicks organization with Dolan in the mix. Why are people sitting here just spinning false narratives as reasons to not trade for him? Play, injury risk, etc. These are legitimate reasons. Fake narratives, they just seem desperate.

When the New York Post is the only one saying the accuser is credible that should raise some eyebrows. As someone who is of the full belief that Kobe Bryant raped a woman, this Porzingis case has A LOT of noise, namely waiting over a year and then producing a handwritten note of an agreement by Porzingis to pay $68,000 for her brother's college tuition in which his name was consistently spelled wrong AND she refused to submit to a handwriting analysis. There's a reason it's basically drifted off into nothingness for two years.

I mean, if that's what you live by, odd that you'd just not acknowledge the smoke in the available evidence.

Oh, I do. His injury history is the main reason, the rest just says, to me, why bother.

Should go after Jalen Brunson. Would fit perfectly here.

Offensively, sure. Defensively, he gives us another reserve guard too small to switch.

Is Axel Toupane any better than he was last time we signed him? He sucked the first go around.

What happened to that Myles Powell? I thought we signed him to a two-way?

He's a switchable defender, could signal a change in philosophy

Isn’t that why Torrey Craig was signed though? Bit of a head scratcher for sure.

Bucks know the progress of their trade talks. Something brewing, with Craig thrown in? Or do the Bucks just think Toupane is an upgrade?
