Not sure if it’s been talked about on here, but the Deck of Cards movie Tim Heidecker put out is absolutely hilarious. Easily worth the $5 HEINetwork fee. I’ve been rewatching the old On Cinema episodes and they never fail to make me laugh. Unbelievable stuff.

The home flip episode was great, but I agree the season as a whole was a let down. Matthew Berry is just so **** funny, Lazlo is one of my favorite television characters of all time.

He's incredible. I want him to him to be the voice of my Google Maps.

That Jackie Daytona episode was unbelievable. Whenever I recommend the show I always tell people to watch that one to see if they like the humor.

Been watching Welcome to Wrexham. It's kinda entertaining, but is definitely made to appeal to a wide audience that isn't as into soccer (football) as I am. Sunderland Till I Die was way more my speed.

Toast of London is a must-watch if you are a Matt Berry fan. Pure British humor, which is not everyone's cup of tea (heh), but he is doing completely unhinged Matt Berry things. WWDITS is at its best when Laszlo is a focal point.

I feel for anyone who's a fan of a one and done. I'm still mad over Invasion. More recently, if they had cancelled Yellowjackets I would have been murderous.

Just saw Barbarian.
Edit: if you choose to see it go on blind. Don’t watch the trailer. It’s horror but semi-genre bending. Totally wild.

Finished season 1. Loved it. Moves fast, which I also love. What takes place in one episode would take a season for The Walking Dead.
That show gets bonus points for pretty much the entire cast being Bucks fans.
Finished the series. Really good. Enjoyed it all.
I see the movie has already been filmed. I saw that the series covered all 10 books, 2 per season but since then Cornwall has written 3 more books so the movie will cover at least some of them. I would have been happy with the ending of season 5 but I'll certainly watch the movie.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Hell or High Water is honestly perfect and incredibly well done. It’s in the Shawshank tier for me.

It's one of my favorite movies. One of those when I left the theater and I couldn't believe what I just saw.

I never knew about it until it was out of theater. I don’t know how I even stumbled upon it but fairly sure I have watched it 20 times. Story line, local nuances, soundtrack, casting, film angles, whatever you name it and it is perfect

It's wild that everyone involved is at their absolute peak, except Amber Midthunder. She's great in her small role, but then goes on and makes Prey.

My guess is the overlap between the dorks threatened/upset by women and minority characters in fantasy movies and the incel community is VERY high.
I'm not racist, I just don't think imaginary people can be black
This is pretty much it. Most of the criticism hasn't been about a dominant female character, but it's actually been about there being far too many minorities and black actors being in the show (because, you know, black people don't exist in Middle Earth in the reality that is complete, made up fantasy!)
I've loved it so far. The third episode dragged a little, but i'm already hooked. Having said that, if there's a universe that i'm invested in, i tend to like anything about it regardless (re: star wars, star trek, LOTR - anything produced for these universes has me hooked. Just discovered Star Trek: Lower Decks and am loving the fresh take on the Star Trek universe))

Yeah it's good stuff. Great cast plus Taylor Sheridan.

I am not saying there aren't real people out there complaining about this, but I have NEVER heard anyone in real life make these comments. I also haven't seen much in forums complaining about it, but I have seen it lobbed out there in social media grenades where people are responding to the 'chatter and criticism'.
Not saying it doesn't happen but I think movies have just gotten into a thing where they are casting wider nets and proactively trying to create a buzz that the film is under attack.
