I don't care how the rest of summer league goes, Marjon is dunzo for me. He has all of the tell tale signs of a guy who is too hesitant to pull it off at the next level. Painful that we held him out of trade talks, but we will have to eat this one.
Someone also needs to tell our summer league coaches that we are allowed to set picks; both for the ball and also away from the ball.

Could call it that.

We for sure held Marjon out of trade talks? That's confirmed?

Livingston is an NBA player. The Bucks need to stay patient but I'm afraid they'll trade him and I'll be sad like I was when they gave Tobes away.
Also, very happy to know that Rollins has a two-way contract.

At least the rookies didn't look completely overwhelmed like in past years. Horst might have actually hit on some young talent to mold.

This format is the worst setting for him because he has no ability to create or make a shot on offense. He was very disappointing tonight

I'm actually surprised they left Livingston in the corner instead of letting him set picks on some 2 man play and let him mess around being the roll man near the hoop.

Tobes started in the corner, too.

AJax has the kind of energy that should have his numbers flirting with low double-digit triple-doubles. He should average like 9/8/8 or something like that.

I like AJJo, you can tell he’s got great energy. Excited to see how he develops. Can’t teach those quicks with his length.

saw some good stuff from all of our guys, and a few things to clean up. Marjon aint as bad as yall making him out to be, I think hed look good between Dame and Khris. play defense and shoot with confidence when open, finish in transition when he gets his opportunities. Tyler Smith is going to be a real player

for as athletic as he is it makes no sense that hes so hesitant to attack the rim off the dribble

SL Game 1 thoughts
-Ryan Rollins was the best player on the court, delivered on both ends.
-Really liked what Chris Livingston & Tyler Smith did. Livingston made the right plays, was strong on the glass, and played solid D. Tyler Smith's shot is silky smooth
-My opinion on AJ Johnson didn't change. Incredibly quick but shot poorly and needs to add weight. Also more TO's than assists wasn't great
-Ajax with some flash plays but struggled. Expected that though as Summer League isn't a great spot for a player like Ajax
-MarJon had a great 3rd quarter but was pretty rough outside of that. Honestly alot of the same with MarJon where looks great one second and terrible another
-Badji is raw and not very good at the moment but I think could develop into something
-Tyty was doo doo
-Between MarJon(2/7), Ajax(0/5), & AJ Johnson(2/9) they went a combined 4/21 from 3. That's just not good enough and with Giannis on the team those guys have to be able to hit shots. They won't play if they can't shoot.

Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Only works when you didn’t spend half of last year being injured in separate week-long stretches.
