We need to clone 28 more Doc Rivers' and have them run NBA teams. We'd be a dynasty.

I think people have a sense Zeller is a stretch 4 because he's white. His mid-range game is maybe adequate, but his thing is more he's good around the rim. Made more sense before we acquired Monroe. Also, I don't think the Clips want to give up Redick for Henson. Redick might be an above average starting 2 actually (says a lot about the state of the position though) and really helps their spacing.

I still really like that Ross/Patterson trade for us. Ross helps spacing, buys some time for Jabari, still might have a little upside, could grow with our core as a big 2, or a 6th man, if he's a hit here. And Patterson could also play a lot with Monroe, with a career 3 pt% of 37, and solid defense. You just worry about Ujiri trying to screw us because he's all about that. "Yeah, f**k Brooklyn." [sub-text] Ha, I wrecked you in that trade, bitch. His attitude is going to catch up with him eventually. At some point next to nobody is going to want to deal with him if that's what he's all about.

Jordan must really not like something at the Clippers to turn down more money as well as walk away from two top 10 players.

I think he's overrated anyway and he goes to one of the more overrated teams in the west so it's an ideal fit for me.

HurricaneKid wrote:Clips will get a TPE out of it. Try to make up for it elsewhere. But its a BIG HIT. I can't believe his complaint was that LAC were too old when he is going to play next to a decrepit Dirk and a guy coming back from achilles. And no PG makes much of his offense vanish. He was going to be one of my two keepers in fantasy. I think this is a really bad move for him professionally, though it appears all the stories about the Clippers locker room are valid.

I wouldn't count on th e Clips getting a TPE. Dallas has very limited window with Dirk left. Why help out a team like the Clippers that you're competing with for a playoff spot in a tough Western conference, especially when you also might face that team in a playoff series? What compensation would make that worthbit for Dallas? Certainly not a few 2nd round picks...

I mean its not bad, but Henson to Zeller seems like a lateral move.

I guess that's something, Daniel, but as I said last night that's pretty obvious if you look at their roster construction. Not like they're thinking maybe to start the season JOB as the #2 pf, and Inglis as the #2 sf; homecourt advantage in the playoffs here we come!

It's just a matter of which of the centers and small guards go, how many sf/pfs they're looking for in return, which ones, and if it's a series of moves or all one.

Every offseason people say "we're not done obviously because the roster makes no sense" and more often than not we're done and the roster just makes no sense. So I'm glad to hear GAD thinks more is coming.

How terrible is nene's deal? I'd flip mayo and bayless for him. It'd be nice to have another bruiser inside in case we run into the bulls again.

Every offseason with Kohl as puppeteer, and I don't think he even did something as crazy as what we're talking about.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made a move for a point guard. Ty Lawson anybody?
