It would be great if we're cleared of tampering then we trade DDV, Wilson and s&t Marvin Williams for Bogdan and then Williams immediately retires upon trade completion. Put that in your tampering pipe and smoke it.

brook and dj make exactly what a starting figure for bogdan needs. involve a 3rd team to give up some salary filler picks or young assets for brook and wallah...... we get bogdan and can keep ddv. maybe the kings even want brook to fill their void there themselves.

only thing we need after that is a cheap rotation of centers off the salary heap for 20 minutes a game and were ready to go

And who plays C??? :nonono:

Having Bogdan WITH Brook in the starting lineup is the reason for it. Giving up Brook is dumb when you have no other C.

Hawks have just signed Dunn also, a little less likely they will still be going after Bogdan, they will have a massive jam at the guard / fwd spots if they land him too.

Having Bogdan WITH Brook in the starting lineup is the reason for it. Giving up Brook is dumb when you have no other C.

Obviously would have rather done the trade that allows us to keep both but I’d much rather be trying to find a cheap C than a cheap wing personally. We’d definitely downgrade from Brook but you can pretty easily get a startable (not ideal, but workable) C with the minimum.

They had rumored interest in rondo. I think the dunn signing means they aren’t going after him. I believe they still have 20m to offer to bogdan.

I think Bogdan + Baynes + GIles does though. Definitely not trading DDV with Brook personally. If that's required, I'm out.
