That actually makes a lot of sense. That would definitely be a good idea.

Not sure that's the formula the new guys should be following. ;)

Yeah I get that logic. Ideally, though, I'd still like to see them bring in their own people now and begin the transformation.

Andrew Wiggins is the prospect Hammond has been pin pointing for years now. U would think that if Hammond really had any say in the decision that there wouldn't be reports that Wiggins is the only top prospect we are not interested in.

I think you need approval from the NBA and like a year or two notice before changing your colors/logo/jerseys. New owners couldn't get that done in a month even if it was their top priority.

There's enough content in here for about 19 normal threads in this forum. It's like reading a cliffs notes version of Ulysses and thinking you are getting it.

I can't believe how far things have come and how much has changed in about 3 months. There needs to be a 30 for 30 about this.

Just a few months back, you'd have to search the cold, dark dregs of this board to find a positive word about the Bucks.

This team needed an infusion of fresh blood in the worst way. This proves that 100%.

Hilarious that we were debating BJ vs Ellis this time last year.

And Henson was our most exciting prospect.

Definitely another exciting offseason for us. Plenty to ponder: #2 pick, 4 draft picks, potential trades, new owners, status of GM/Coach, arena discussions, etc. There definitely is plenty to discuss.

I don't need to come on here and share things.

7 likes for a comment suggesting I'm gay certainly doesn't make me feel welcome or appreciated.

Just sayin.

Not that theres anything wrong with it... Who's going to be the first RealGM member to come out of the closet, Mike Sam-style? He/she should be celebrated, IMO.

I think we need to think bigger on this board when it comes to this draft...We've been talking about a need for new owners, new gm, new coach, superstar = new arena

But, I think these guys have a plan, a very good one. And if they think Parker sets things in motion to help get the arena done, more than the other guys, then that's the plan....Maybe they think having the best player over the next 3-4 years from this draft is critical to the larger picture, and that the team can't wait 3-4 years for Wiggins to figure it out on the offensive end (just making a hypothetical point, so no need to defend Wiggins NBA offensive readiness or not).

One thing is certain, they have a plan, they get that there is a need to change the culture and perception of this thing from the top down. Failure is not an option, and based on the comments from Eastside, they have pretty much accurately assessed the current state of the organization and are prepared to deal with it.

I for one, am going to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Just wanted to say that reading this thread is amazing. Truly a new era for Bucks fans. Really happy with these new owners so far and for everyone here for their efforts in making it happen.

Go Bucks!

While I never doubt anything ESBF has to share here... Context on Drew being gone would be kinda awesome. Like, before the season? Are they going to ride out this season (Hammond/Drew) and then we get a new front office?

The idea behind not letting anyone with knowledge of our pick go makes a ton of sense and part of me would think it's kind of awesome to fire these guys after the draft and go from there but it's so hard to put everything together that context would be great, if available.

What was the speculation of Exum not wanting to be in MKE based on (if you can answer)?
