I mean Giannis is already a better player then both of them, see no reason either of those two players with serious flaws outplay a guy whose already a top 3 MVP candidate. Think for a minute guys. We are talking about two of the most transcendent teen hoops phenoms in the past decade. Is there a chance one of them busts? Sure. But it is very low. I'd put money that if they stay healthy both guys make at least one all star game apiece at a bare minimum.

And both Parker and Wiggins probably have more name recognition right now in Milwaukee than Giannis does and likely sell many more tickets on their own.

I don't think this is on the level of declining to trade Jennings for Chris Paul, but......

That said, if he turns into Magic Johnson, I'll happily eat the crow. I see prime Kirilenko, which is an excellent player, but I'd take my chances with Parker and Wiggins.

Friendly reminder that Embiid is older than Giannis and Simmons is only a year and a half younger. They're all pretty much in that same age range, yet Giannis is already producing at an MVP-level. Neither of those other guys are there yet. So yeah, even assuming perfect health, there's no way I take Embiid over Giannis. Not even close.

Man that's a helluva question. At least we don't have to answer since the injury is there for Embiid. It saddens me to say but if you could guarantee the same amount of health from here out I think I'd take Embiid.

Some other old takes you could dig up would be some of the discussions of Phi roster vs MKE roster after Giannis/Embiid from roughly a year ago. Lots of hot takes in there I remember about Simmons not being good...I mean, you know his team didn't even make the tournament...

I was thinking about it yesterday during the Lakers/Sixers game. Embiid is such a **** monster on both ends of the floor. He absolutely toyed with Randle and Brook, especially down the stretch. 46/15/7/7.

When he was in Kansas, I saw a guy with the footwork of Hakeem and the physical presence of David Robinson out there. I wanted to draft him before before his injury in the weeks leading up to the draft scared me away. And I still question his long-term capacity to contribute.

But damn, he's a **** world beater. And Simmons looks pretty amazing in his own right, too.

These polls are silly anyway. Everybody here is a homer pretty much. That's the exact result you'd expect to see.

If you had made a poll in 2015 about trading Jabari for, whatever, say CJ McCollum it would've been 200-0 even though that would've been a good trade then and a great trade now.

I didn't post here but if I had I would have traded him. I don't feel bad about that. I think everybody SHOULD have unless you were a homer. there is no way you pass up that deal just because you saw Giannis his rookie year.

Pretty much agree with GoS. I know after the next season I wouldn't have traded him for anyone in the league, but at the time of this poll it wasn't as obvious yet. To me, at least.
