I'm 95% certain Divac will grab Doncic after the Suns pick up their local kid
So then Divac will have Doncic, Bogdan, Hield, Fox and Mason III for basically 2 starter spots. I wonder if he's willing to let one go for something reasonable.

I didn’t think he’s been mocked in the first round very regularly but I posted about him like a month ago in the last draft thread. He’s a wing from Boston College that absolutely shredded the ACC this year

Never even heard of this dude.

I didn’t think he’s been mocked in the first round very regularly but I posted about him like a month ago in the last draft thread. He’s a wing from Boston College that absolutely shredded the ACC this year

PLUSES
Fluid athlete who changes directions quickly while staying under control.
Tight ball handler with a wide array of moves; he especially likes using hesitations, fakes, and in-out dribbles when he’s going left.
Uses either hand to finish at the rim with touch, and he occasionally slams down monster dunks when he has space.
Great spot-up shooter with a quick release, and he’s just as potent on pull-ups. Has potential shooting off screens and handoffs.
Serviceable passer for a wing.
Solid defender who can defend both guard spots, though he must get stronger.
MINUSES
Inconsistent shooter in pick-and-roll and isolation situations. He’s able to create space for himself, but he’s not a game-changing bucket-getter.
Average finisher against length and athleticism due to lack of lift jumping off one foot, but occasionally shows off acrobatic layups.
Forces the issue at times instead of making the simple pass, which could be a byproduct of his role as the go-to scorer.
Inconsistent effort on defense, especially when playing off-ball.

Bogdan played 59% of his minutes at SF last year, and Doncic is technically big enough to play some PF. So they could run some Fox/Hield/Bogdan/Doncic/Giles

Badger, what does your short list look like of guys that should be available around our pick?

It hasn’t changed much. I still LOVE Melton’s defense, best PG defender in the draft since CP3. Efficient and makes the smart/simple play on offense. Paired with Brogdon at SG our D would be amazing.
I like ZSmith, good D and smart O, does the little things and works hard at improving his game.
Vanderbilt is intriguing. Pretty raw having missed a lot of last year and his senior season but his energy and quickness to the ball is astounding. We need a SF/PF defender to offset Mids/Jabari, and his offensive rebounding.
I could be sold on Okobo, he has gotten quicker with the ball at the end of his season. I think he could be a Schroder level player just more shooter than driver but similar impact. Worse defensively though.
I think Huerter will be ok but we don’t have a PG that can set him up for success.
Freaks like Mitchell Robinson and Simmons are intriguing but no idea where their heads are at.
Evans is a solid player, good enough at everything. Like him.

Yeah like I said I’d grab Evans. I’m not all that high on Okobo, think he’s Schroder level but the Suns and the Nuggets gave him a hard look. I have the feeling Melton will be there and we will take Holiday
