Awesome, looks like I have a new show to watch and it's cool that a new season is coming up soon.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

So I just got around to watching Bad Omens on Prime..... Am I the only one that was half expecting them to bust out the "So Long and thanks for all the Fish" song at the end?

I've always thought it would be interesting for someone to watch BCS first and then Breaking Bad. One downside is you know what happens to Saul post BB.

Spoiler:
But you'd be in for quite a trip with Mike and Fring.
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

The Ringer is doing a podcast on The Wire while I'm on my 4th re-watch. Absolute GOAT tier show, digging the deep dive analysis on the podcast.

My GF has never seen The Wire. We're going to start on it sometime this week. Sure it's a bit dated with the technology but no better show has ever been made.

Agreed, it's weird watching The Sopranos or The Wire and you see pagers and enormous pants and you think it has to be 40 years old but it's less than 20. It really pops how far technology has advanced.

Funny thing they mentioned on the podcast was that their original choice for "McNutty" was John C Reilly  So glad it ended up being Dominic West. The Barksdale crew, Omar and Jimmy/Bunk are my favorite parts of the show. Man, it's brilliant.

There's two types of people in the world: those that think The Wire is the best show ever made, and those that have never seen it.

Finally saw Parasite.

Spoiler:
Lack of a true protagonist prevented me from getting really into it. When they were fighting over the cell phone I was rooting for the old housekeeper if anything.

Good day to point out Draft Day might be the worst movie ever made. Plenty of bad movies but what puts Draft Day over the top is they took a topic that should have been an easy layup for me to like and made it an unwatchable piece of trash.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Anybody following Dave on fx(Lil Dicky)? I thought it was just going to be goofy at first, but It's actually a really good show. Episode 5 with his hype man, Gata, and last night's- both fantastic episodes.

I like it as well. I feel like they cut away or miss slightly on climaxes. I wish he would have performed the funeral song, and I wish they would have shown more of the show at the end in episode 5. I feel like they build up to something, and it's a let down with the show over right away.

I think the holy **** moments are even more jarring when they happen that way, it's effective(imo obviously).

The foreshadowing with the autotune was amazing in the last episode. The basic premise of the episode happened to him in real life too if you've ever heard his song Molly.

Yep, some lyrics in the song even line up with what happened.

Comedy obviously being subjective they miss a lot at this point as well. That scene with elz and marshmallow was just dumb and pointless. I can enjoy lowbrow humor but it just wasn't funny at all. I do enjoy scenes with Dave's parents.
