Lot of guys who are probably perceived to be better than they actually are. If they had a legit top 10 guy they are probably a contender.

The last time they were something it was with Oladipo going supernova, wasn't it?

Definitely missing that star...

I get Dame's wishes and have been known to throw the #BuildAroundBen hashtag around in recent years. But Portland just kinda sucks and trading for Simmons won't fix that. At this point I don't think anyone could hold it against him if he wished for a change of scenery. I think that's the only way he gets close to a ring.

Hard to take the Nets seriously at this very moment.

They'll still get a nice pick or two for Turner, but I'll never understand why people keep treating LeVert as a valuable young player when he's neither that (27 years old), durable, nor efficient.

Agree on the first point re Sabonis. If he's a sizable contract on your team and your third best player or higher, I just see no path to a deep playoff run. Can't have a 4 who is average at best defensively who isn't Jokic on offense. Who would you rather have, Wood or Sabonis...

They must be your harden. Decent record for Mavs.

Every time I watch harden he looks like trash. I know his stats overall are really good but he looks like a negative player Everytime I catch a nets game

In order for POR to legitimately compete for a title, they need another talent that is At LEAST as good as Dame. They also need to acquire that player without giving up more than one of McCollum, Powell, Covington & Nurkic. Unless a top 10 players forces their way to POR and said player's team is wiling to take back pennies on the dollar, I don't see how Dame doesn't ask or a trade.

I usually watch and root for them to win when they're playing an eastern conference opponent and they seem to lose every time. Maybe tonight will be different since I complained about it

Pretty simple for me if I'm the new Portland GM. Tell Morey he can have McCollum plus whatever picks and swaps for Simmons, or kick rocks and enjoy his disgruntled "star" sitting at home. Portland has all their draft assets anyways, so I'd be comfortable making some minor moves at the deadline while saving my picks for the Godfather type offer to get the next available All-Star type dude, ala Jrue.

Philly has already proposed Simmon for McCollum + 3 FRPs and 3 pick swaps. Portland, rightly, declined.

Luka needs Giannis.

I'm imagining a world in which Kidd mentally and physically breaks Luka and Giannis swoops in and recruits him to Milwaukee. 8-)
