20 pages into the trade rumor thread and I am so excited the Bucks are doing anything, I just want the trade to go down so I can look at the team and say they're making moves to try to get better. In seasons past, we haven't had much to be excited about.

Thank you John Hammond for getting me excited about the prospects of our team improving.

Interesting turn of events and since yall probably waiting on my impramatur I think its a good trade if it 1) brings a first rounder & 2) makes it easier to bring the big-E back.

While Conleys development may have stalled this year you would have to think that OJ would impact on his game and that the Grizz may prefer Lowry as he can score better.

I think coming somewhere where he's asked to mainly run the offence and defend he will thirve.......I hope cause Ramon does have ability.

I am 100% in, book my full endorsement.

I'm on-board. In some ways in initial reception I think this deal seems alien to most Bucks fans because we have been mired in small-time, reactionary front office moves in the pre-Hammond era.

These guys know what they are doing, let them work.
The Milwaukee Bucks. Still the only major Milwaukee team to get closest to a title since the mid 1980's.

Me too. These are outstanding.

I do think this one comes off given that the idea was spilled to the MJS on Saturday.

I think Enlund was definitely tipped off about something. But the guy in Memphis heard about it too because that's where the specifics of the deal first were reported.

Yeah, I think its happening too--but I am extremely suspicious why its not happening now.

Maybe Kohl wants to take Sessions and Alexander out to dinner in DC before the game to thank them for their "years" of service?

Well, the jury's still out on whether Memphis knows what they're doing, but yeah, I get your point

Play tonight's game first would be my guess.

Could this mean that Ersan was the possible Christmas present? And this deal just facilitates that (contract buy-out and subsequent deal).

i don't know, this feels kind of reactionary to me.

joe hasn't earned minutes yet and sessions isn't playing as well as he did to start the season, and ooh look!! a former 4th overall pick is available!!!

nicely phrased.

but i don't like this trade at all. i'm a lover of all things ramon, i don't like this one bit. and i'd never give up on a rookie within 2-3 years of their careers beginning. i don't fully understand all the financial affairs - i couldn't really care less to be honest - so if our hands are tied then so be it.

i'm just going with the assumption that hammond knows what he's doing.

and of course kohl has to sign off on it, he's the owner. ridiculous to think it could be done without his stamp of approval.

If he can handle the ball and dish it out like this on a regular basis, then maybe i'll warm up to the idea of trading lol.

I'm on the fence about this trade. I'm not a huge Conley fan and thought he was drafted too high. I've come around on Sessions, but still don't think he's a guy that you can count on to lead a team.

I love that JA is being included, though. Hammond is seeing that he messed up by taking the kid. Trade him now before my Haislip comparisons come to fruitation and all we can do is cut him.

Gotta feel a little for JA though, if he's not seeing much time here he will dissappear of the face of the earth (i.e. NBDL) in Memphis with the 3'sthey have have.

How long have you been a Bucks fan? We made a crazy amount of trades when Harris was the GM.

Wonder if Kelvin Sampson has pushed this trade at all. Youd think he would know a fair bit about Mike.

What percentage would you Bucks fans put on this trade going through? Need to know if I should pick up Sessions for my fantasy team :D

Didn't Hammond say at his hiring press conference that he will make trades that will seem odd and probably not favorable with the overall fan base, but will be ones that will improve the team...? Obviously nobody can predict the future, but this would maybe fit that mold much like the Ridnour trade.

Could be, but I think he was more foreshadowing trading Redd, Mo and CV at that point. Sessions wasn't a factor back then and Potsie was but a gleam in his eye.

I'd hope though that this is part of a bigger housecleaning (i.e. Redd or even a CV for Landry type move) but won't get my hopes up.

Two non basketball observations about this trade.
1. If Conley does come here and wear #11, that has to be an NBA record for highest turnover of one number in the shortest span of time. 2005-2009 #11 Ford-Yi-Alexander-Conley. That is impressive.

2. Perhaps Memphis enjoyed their short experience with with Gay Love so much on draft night that now they are looking to embark on full out Gay Sessions?
Wow, that is lame, sorry. Somebody had to do it.

During the season? For a player with as much potential?

None of the in-season trades made during the Larry Harris era had me excited in any way.
