yeah. I can't believe Wisconsin doesn't have medical weed. I have a neck and shoulder issue (caused by injuries I got playing hs football) so get my legal weed here in AZ and it's great. I get to go to a store and pick the strain of dank that does what I want to me. Larry should definitely choose a team in a state where he can be properly medicated.jwill535 wrote:Better weed?
Have u guys seen the recent article on NFL players smoking grass? I'm posting from my phone so won't post a link but it's a good informative read. It talks about how pretty much all football players smoke and how much less damaging it is compared to pain killers like oxys.

In with Sonny Weems & Mirza Teletovic, out with O'Bryant & Plumlee.

I know. I can't believe they gave Carlos' boot to Inglis. That thing is cursed.

I'm still hoping to sign either Teletovic or Gerald Green while trading Bayless for anything at this point.

Where do we think David Lee is going to end up?
Maybe the Bucks are incentivized to take on some salary to facilitate Lee heading to a 3rd team.

Probably Philly, where bloated contracts go to die.

If they stay healthy they got a real shot to come out of the west next year.safi wrote:WiscoKing13 wrote:I'd drop the mavs down to 6 and move the teams in between up one. A lot of unknowns with the Mavs at this point. Also without a center at this point, LAC is going to be battling to get in the playoffs.
Dallas and OKC are the wildcards. Dallas needs to add another guy or two, I love Devin Harris but he is definitely not a starting PG. And we'll see how Wesley Matthews looks. And I do think that if OKC is healthy they're the only ones with a roster at this moment that could challenge the Warriors or Spurs. I think even without DeAndre Jordan the Clippers should be able to make the playoffs. I just don't see Utah or Portland or Phoenix being able to knock them off that spot.
I've never believed in Memphis as a championship contender. Good team, will win a lot of games, might win a series or two in the playoffs but they have a few flaws that they can't overcome in a 7 game series against an elite team. They really only have one player that can effectively create his own shot. The addition of Barnes is another 3-and-D guy so they're certainly better in that area than they were a couple years ago when the Spurs swept them. But outside shooting is still a major weakness and I don't think they can beat San Antonio or Golden State in a 7 game series. And FWIW I don't think they would've beaten Golden State, all of the Warriors wins were pretty decisive.

I don't understand the David West to Cleveland rumors. They have 17 power forwards.

Re: Free Agency Thread -LMA to Spurs
A healthy OKC, SA and GS are the logical favorites in West and CLE in East to contend for the next title.
As for the PO it depends on the injuries, but in the east I see ORL, DET and MIA fighting for a spot.
Of course it's too early for predictions, but these are mine till now.

We've got a recovering Jabari & a borderline NBA player in O'Bryant.

I know depending on a guy that's going to turn 34 midway through the season with chronic knee injuries is a little foolish. But a healthy starting 5 of Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh and Whiteside is one that could be quite good and should be able to make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference rather easily.
It'll be interesting to see how they deal with Wade this season. I could see them doing something similar to 2 years ago with the logic that even with Wade playing 55-60 games they can finish in the top 7 in the East and as long as they don't play Cleveland they like there chances.

I don't understand the West to Spurs rumors. They have no money and LMA and Duncan.
West can pull a 2/$25 contract from someone. See no way he leaves that coin on the table.

West makes more sense in San Antonio if it's not a money thing. Aldridge/West & Duncan/Diaw should be split all of the available 4/5 minutes without issue. With Love/Thompson & Movgov/Varejao + Lebron as a situational 4 I just don't see any room for West to fit in.

I remember reading that the Spurs' interest was contingent on not getting LMA.

I feel like we must be working on a trade to dump some of our players or we would have heard about meetings.
