Two separate trades:

DMO, Papa, Canaan for John Henson and Jared Dudley

Shved, Pel Pick for Knight

Bucks trade Ersan in separate deal

Man I'd take these deals and try to trade for something with the Pels pick

Why do you guys still insist on getting rid of young talent for less proven young talent and marginal at best draft picks. I think you guys drank too much of the tank cool-aid last season tbh.

The same reason that people gamble. They always think the jackpot is bound to happen soon.

I'd consider the first and break my cell phone if a team tried to get me to do the second.

Because a lotto pick for Knight and Henson for DMo, who has probably shown the most of either player, is good value.

Not that Rubio would be available but I would love to see him playing along side Knight.

I would seriously LOL if we traded Knight for Shved.

No, it was posted earlier on this page as a trade machine link.

I'd love DMO on this team. I'd definitely trade a Dudley and Henson package for him. With the Howard injury I'm skeptical he'd available for a package like that though.

With Dwight out, Dudley and ZaZa for Pelicans pick and Terrence Jones.

Again with all these I realize the other team may hang up the phone. But you've got to make the call at least. And I'd simply take the Pelicans pick here although we need to match salaries.

It'd be real sweet to net that Pelicans pick...our front office doesn't seem likely to trade ZaZa by any stretch, but that would be maximizing on his trade value to say the least.

And Dudley has been awesome here. So much so that he is probably going to opt out and get a deal we shouldn't match.

What do people here think of Evan Fournier? When he started for Orlando this year he averaged 15 a game and shot 45 from the field, 40 from 3. I think he's a solid, young, athletic combo guard type of player who could turn into a good piece in the future.

I'd consider lowballing Orlando for Moe Harkless :D

I don't know if there's more to it, but he hasn't even been active lately. Their coach supposedly hates him

Explain to me how Knight has much more value than a lottery pick or Henson has much more value than DMO. I get that you're in love with Knight, but even you'd have to see that if we did trade him, and I'm not saying we will, he isn't worth much more than that if at all.

I don't think that's a terrible trade offer but I wouldn't do it. Rather see what Henson has the next season and a half because we need defense to emerge inside. I'd move Knight off ball and I think he's a better individual scorer than what we likely land at 14. I like Motie but we currently have four guys 24 or under putting up a .550+ TS and that doesn't count Parker. With Sanders AWOL we need a player like Henson (or what Henson can hopefully become) more. I think the offensive talent on the team is solid it just needs a different PG.

He is only 22, but I am skeptical of his defense, and though Bayless is 26, I feel Bayless is almost the perfect fit for Kidd's system as a backup combo guard.

I think I would be more interested in going out and grabbing a 3 and D PG like a lot of the posters on here, but my personal preference is grabbing a solid inside presence on offense and defense. Henson has looked good for around a month now, so maybe he is finally ready to claim a larger role, hard to say for sure.

A month ago, I was certain this team was going to make a trade with the chatter I heard, but not being in the CC for some time now, and none of my contacts really mentioning much, each week we inch closer to the deadline I begin to think more and more that we are going to stand pat. Aside from Ersan and JoB, the rest of the roster seems to gel very well together, and that might be detrimental to the development of Knight, Middleton, and Giannis.

Fournier is no combo guard, he has a game similar to a poor man's Manu Ginobli, good player but will never be a combo guard type.
