Prez signing with Indiana should kill any of this talk that he had political motivations to get out of town.

Wasn't there word about something going down between Kidd and Brogdon?

Maybe he felt like the higher-ups didn't have his back when they should have.

Also plausible that Brogdon wanted to play more PG and have more influence over the offense than what Budenholzer wanted.

Or...Brogdon just got paid a ton and the Bucks would rather pay others. Not like we couldn't have matched if the franchise wanted to commit to him long term.

They have to if they want to get a S&T for their targets done.

Where are we getting the 'Brogdon didn't want to stay in Milwaukee' stuff from? People keep repeating it here and elsewhere but I haven't seen any actual report about it..

If it gets them their desired free agent they might.

Way too much speculation here.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think we're missing the most important part about all of this. Is Prez going to change his username again?

Can't be proven but there's some anecdotal evidence the past few years.

My two cents is Brogdon has a preferred list of cities like everyone else, but was willing to go where the most money was offered, as most of us would have.

This. It's an easier path to see if Miami is super motivated to get Butler. Obviously they wouldn't do it otherwise.

WTF cares whether Brogdon wanted in or out of Milwaukee? That might be worth debating if he simply signed an offer sheet and he walked for nothing. They got useful assets back and could turn him into something that makes the team better. Let this play out before breaking out the pitchforks.

Or maybe Brogdon can be viewed as a basketball player first and wanted to be a starting PG, which he wasn’t going to be here.

Rather than risk a REALLY good locker room with a guy who could become an issue, they got something out of it.

On top of Gery's reporting (carries a heavy *)
On top of his general wavering press interviews about where he wanted to be.

That doesn't make this true

I feel like this is a scenario - but with all things, the truth ends up in the middle.

Yeah those Brogs patented crafty drives of his were getting swatted vs the Raptors, it flagged his limitations IMO.

Well you certainly aren't framing it as deduction and theory.

There were talks about a starter who "wasn't apart of the culture" the other four starters are all signed to longterm contracts now. I think it's pretty easy to deduce who the rumored malcontent was.

So he wants out of Milwaukee but is happy to go play in Indiana?

I think it's about the Bucks not wanting to pay him/pay the tax for better or worse.

I think the point is that Indiana (birthplace of the KKK) is a racist place.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

At least we didn't trade Porzingis.
