I agree with how you think , but don't worry about Giannis. He doesn't even demand more minutes from his coach.
Giannis is like Rambo, he goes God Mode on court, while obeying orders. I am sorry if you are young and you haven't seen Rambo.

Does anyone know the timelines on Giannis making a decision? I've kinda lost the plot with covid, it's all out of whack this off season

The draft date has been set, November 18. Free agency dates have not been set. Usually FA starts about 10 days after the draft but who knows this year, there has to be an agreement between the owners and the players association.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Playoff bigs? You talking Javale McGee or Daniel Theis? I think Wood would be an upgrade against Bam from Marvin Williams. However, Wood is quicker than Williams, and could just guard the 4 too, with Giannis on Bam.

Check out the tape of Wood versus the Philly bigs late in the season. Wood dominated, scoring a career high 32, and blocked Imbiid's mid range shot twice. Wood hit 3s, and when Imbiid and Horford came out to contest, he drove for dunks. Then they tried Tobias Harris on him, and Wood bullied him.

Now, the idea of these same bigs trying to guard Wood off the dribble and at the 3 point line is why I want Wood back.

I was a Wood skeptic after watching him with the Herd, but he just keeps getting better, more attention to detail. As you said Fotis, Wood is an advanced stat darling, he was the only Detroit player with a positive net rating.

If Wood forgives Bud & Sweeney doesn't prevent a reunion, it'd be the right move for another rotation big.

I think Wood's counting on a deal that's a whole lot more than the Bucks can afford.

In a sign and trade 3 way, Wood could sign for a deal starting at $21 million a year. It doesn't sound like it'll go nearly that high, and I wouldn't do that much.

Wow. A lot of Christian Wood love. Where did this come from? The Bucks had him for a long time and let him go. The guy has been with 6 teams (Phil, Toronto, Charlotte, Milw, New Orleans and Detroit). Were they all wrong and now he is worth $21 million a year?

He does have an intriguing skillset, but there has to be more to it.

He showed off a pretty ideal modern four skillset in 21 MPG this season in Detroit. He's gonna get paid.

Giannis united with his "little brother"
Taxpayer MLE: best wing we can land
The sign and trade could also be for Gallinari

So you are basically saying to trade Bledsoe and a 1st for Wood ... Wood would probably have signed a multi year contract with 17M per something like 4/68M ... so having Brook we would pay our Centers about 30M annually when the whole league has downgraded Centers value on court and try to find cheap solutions there. This is such a Bucks thing to do ... like all these Snell/Henson/Delly/Plumlee contracts didn't teach us anything ... Save the god damn money for a superstar or keep our books clean with enough cap space to be able to make a huge sign or trade when the opportunity comes ... I am totally against to that money position distribution.

The above salaries above is total speculation cause Knicks absorb all his salary, anyway it depends on the salary and I would give up a 1st for Wood , I would pack it to trade for a superstar or a really good guard. His doesn't move the needle as much and we need a huge upgrade at the guard position.

He's getting that Whiteside money if the market hasn't been destroyed.

Amen to that. Putting up decent stats on a crappy team (his 6th).

Not trading Bledsoe and a 1st for Wood. Deal states Bledsoe for Wood and a 2nd. Why do you think Wood would just play center? He'd also play PF, he'd get about 30 minutes a game.

There isn't any good guards available, so it's necessary to get creative. Teams downgrading bigs is part of why Giannis and Wood will continue to dominate. Teams are going small simply because of lack of quality size. None of the guards you want score as efficiently as Wood.

Probably more realistic if you cut out the Grizzlies

Clippers: Bledsoe
Bulls- #24, Pat Beverley, Ersan, Wilson

Us getting Jones was the good part. I like Satoransky as a back up type, but Jones is still on the rise. Thad is too expensive for me to gamble on a late career revival.

Along with that Whiteside "damn, who can we trade him to, hope some playoff team's center gets injured" status after half a season.

I'd trade for Griffin far before giving Wood anything. He's going to get overpaid by someone.
