Yup this has been on my mind all year. There is no reason one of Dame/Giannis aren't out there at all times. Some of this is on Dame for his insistence to play the whole 1Q and 3Q. Either work with him to tweak or you have to work around it so Giannis is out there when he's not.

This seems like really basic coaching malpractice to me. Not only due to basic logic but also because of the issues they keep talking about on having to defer to each other. This would give Giannis about 15 mins every game where he is his full old school self to do be the lead. The other 15-18 he lets Dame lead the O

Didn't the Bucks have the 4 or 5th best defense in the NBA last year while also being near the tops in rebounding? ETA: 4th best def rating last year

The Bucks were consistently a top 10 defense under Bud. Now we’re bottom 10. Our defense was better than this when we were down Brook all year playing **** Demarcus Cousins.
