Holiday(11)/Bayless(3)
Middleton(6?)/Mayo(8)
Giannis(1.9)/Dudley(4.3)
Parker(5.1)/Henson(2.9)
Monroe(15)/Zaza(5.2)

62.4 Mil total

I like Lawson a million times better than Holiday...our PGs are even worse than we have this year IMO.
Bucks fan since day one. Go Bucks!

Knight for Kanter is something that would interest me too.

I'd rather just get Stauskas from the Kings for ourselves.

What would people think about this type of trade. Someone who isnt listed as available, but could easily be made available for the right trade.

Looking at Orlando, as a tanking team, theyll be looking to shed their long term contracts, open up time for the younger guys. For the Bucks, we clearly need size on the interior. Therefore, what about a trade based off of:

Channing Frye and Kyle O'Quinn

for

Ersan Illyasova and Johnny O'Bryant

As some of us has discussed, Ersan is essentially a net negative at this point. However, with Fyres start to the season for Orlando, he could be too. The extra year cannot be discounted, as were adding another year of another player who has been ineffective this year. However, Fyre does have some things that Ersan doesnt. A legitimate 7 footer who wont have as much trouble as Ersan in a small ball lineup and can legitimately play C this year and in future years. A better career 3 point shooter on more attempts per game. But in terms of fit, Fyre fits better with our future core of Giannis and Parker as at the 5, Fyre provides the spacing that neither of them have at this point in their careers. He gives Knight a pick and roll partner who might encourage him to pass a little more. And hes a better defender than Ersan simply because he has the size and all Ersan can do on defense is take a charge. The extra year is a concern though, but I think Fyre with us could get closer to his career numbers than what hes doing in Orlando right now. Orlando does it to get out of one year of Fyres contract because theyll likely be drafting a PF/C type prospect high in the draft this year. The extra year though is offset by Kyle O'Quinn being a much better player than O'Bryant, someone who could just need a chance to become a player and adds to the depth at PF by adding a quality player for potentially 2 years.

I know most will hate an extra year of Fyre, but if Ersan is truly a negative asset at this point, Id take a chance on Fyre actually being a positive one for the team vs. Ersan for that extra year if getting rid of Ersan means adding an asset. I feel Fyre is just in a bad situation right now, our offense fits him pretty well I think and he has familiarity with Dudley which can only help him acclimate to the team if he starts out in the 2nd unit with him.

I'd like to see the argument as to why Kanter is worthy but a guy like Motiejunas is low end. I'd much prefer Motiejunas to Kanter.

Trade Knight for prospect/picks, sign Calathes and Marshall to run the point.

Seriously weird. Motiejunas is 5x the player, has improved on the court, is not that much older, and has another year on his rookie deal. Kanter is never going to catch him.

What I'm expecting the argument to mostly be about. Possibly the 2 year age difference as well.

I was really interested in Motiejunas when I saw how much size he'd put on when he came over but he looked like a Bargnani level lost cause on D. He's really come a long way which you definitely can't say about Kanter.

Yeah, typical ignore substance straight to ppgz comment 7 years strong baddy.

Honestly though, some of you piggy back wanna be's that only care about your face and perception on this board should look in the mirror and smack yourselves in the face real hard. Learn to be unique, be you, stop with the copy cat suck up demeanor as if you are devoid from any individuality at all, it gets sickening to a lot of important people around here.

FYI, the main reason BP stopped posting, just saying.....

That man gave you guys nothing but gold straight from the inside (really good guy mind you) and half of you talked smack all day every day about him suggesting he is a fraud and you know better. Ya'll just baffle me sometimes. If you guys treated him with any kind of dignity and respect, he would have continue to post here as a community member once he moved on from his position.
