We go now live to DeAndre Jordan’s lawn.

What is Boston doing? It's like they're taking Kohl's blueprint of acquiring a bunch of middling NBA talents to become just good enough to beat bad teams and chase the 8th seed.

I may be in the minority here, but I thought "ring chasing" > money chasing. Shows the players actually want to win, but I could be wrong...

If DJ renigs on the deal with Dallas he will become my least favorite player of all time and that is saying something...I have had some deep hatred for players over the years.

With Dallas's luck in free agency the past few seasons, Jordan will end up going back to LA.

Does Wes sign somewhere else if DeAndre is going back to Los Angeles?

I wonder if this is way more common than we think. Can't wait for Chris Paul to release an official statement of apology for not high fiving Jordan next.

Would be sweet if Jordan just told him to shove it up his ass and tell everyone he is still taking his talents to Dallas.

I hope the Bucks sell the Clippers a center for the price of a total ripoff.

He's probably trolling them. Just wanted to tell CP3 to his face how much he hates him in front of the whole Clips FO.

I definitely get it from the Clippers side, because what are their options? Waste a year of CP3 and Blake? They really have no alternative to DJ. Without him they're completely screwed. With him they're still a legit contender. Until the ink is dry they really should be falling all over themselves to make Jordan feel the love he felt was lacking.

"I promise to high-five you and not yell at you for not practicing free throws." - Chris Paul

"Aw, shucks Chris, I'm coming back, that's all I needed to hear!" - DeAndre Jordan

Is there a precedent for players backing out of agreed deals during the moratorium? None spring into mind.

They have no one as pretty as Chandler Parsons to go to dinner with. I don't see how the Clippers can win this race.

Jordan the plate licker.

"Hey DJ, it's CP. I know you said you were leaving because I didn't high five you or slap your butt enough, but can we grab lunch and talk?"

"Hey CP. can we get sushi?"

"Anywhere you want, buddy!"

Stein reports Jordan willing to take free lunch from anyone to discuss his future.

Free lunch round 2. Still ends up in Dallas. Sticking it to the man.

It happens all the time in college sports recruiting. Can't think of any professional examples.
