What do you guys think about a "neutral" win now move, like Ersan for Jordan Hill? Neutral in the sense you aren't getting younger or older for the most part. I think (if healthy) Hill would be a good fit in Kidd's offense. About an extra million but he expires next year.

I like the idea of adding him if we can't pull off a bigger deal. He can rebound and play both pf and c. Not sure what the Lakers would want. Ersan is probably not the most attractive piece for them.

I'd take ed davis from them instead too for similar reasons.

We need to find a way to make a three way trade sending out ersan, Bayless and a future first and get back Lawson. We are going to compete this year and next. Mine as well get a true PG to better our team.

This is where I'd wonder if Denver would trade us Lawson for Knight plus one of those firsts. That's the move I'd focus on.

I dont mind that at all either, but I think if we can keep Knight for now, we are a better team. Id like to sign/trade Knight in the offseason and hold onto Middleton and Henson if possible.

Given what I think is a pretty solid point guard draft class, I'd prefer to add our PG of the future with our draft pick. If we're dealing Knight I'd rather acquire a draft pick or a young center.

Yeah, typical ignore substance straight to ppgz comment 7 years strong baddy.

Honestly though, some of you piggy back wanna be's that only care about your face and perception on this board should look in the mirror and smack yourselves in the face real hard. Learn to be unique, be you, stop with the copy cat suck up demeanor as if you are devoid from any individuality at all, it gets sickening to a lot of important people around here.

FYI, the main reason BP stopped posting, just saying.....

That man gave you guys nothing but gold straight from the inside (really good guy mind you) and half of you talked smack all day every day about him suggesting he is a fraud and you know better. Ya'll just baffle me sometimes. If you guys treated him with any kind of dignity and respect, he would have continue to post here as a community member once he moved on from his position.

#OwnTheFuture

How the **** do you know why BP stopped posting? If anything, it's because rat **** like you who work for the organization found out who he was.
The Bulls are the absolute worst.

Or maybe people stop posting here because of the constant negativity, confrontational attitudes, and recycled arguments that are featured here day after day after day

What teams do we think could be Ersan destinations?

Given how little he's been on the court of late I'm not sure we could get any manner of positive value any more.

Then again if he strings together some healthy games in a row maybe a playoff team will view him as an ideal buy-low target. But Kidd might not want to trade him now for that same reason.

The broader context is that Ersan's contract is fully guaranteed through 2015. In 2016 only $400k is guaranteed.

The case for keeping Ilyasova probably starts with how that contract is becoming less daunting every day. And even if it doesn't happen this year, he certainly could have at least a better season health-wise next year.

BP was pretty much revered as a god here, he even had his own symbol. I highly doubt a small few people questioning his otherwise well established credibility caused him to stop posting here >>>

Maybe this is Kohl-era thinking, but considering Sanders' issues with substance abuse, taking on Lawson so soon after his second DUI would be a risk.

His value also could be artificially deflated because of it, making now the time to strike.

Hard to say what the plan is with the Nuggets front office either way. It seems like they could just as easily blow it up as they could trade for Brooke Lopez and then try to bring back George Karl this summer.

Looks like the Pels aren't keeping Wolters. Do we bring him back (if we're even able)? Would he even be interested?

I think you do background research on Lawson and figure out if he will fit in the culture here. The good news is that Kidd has been in lockerooms for 20-years. He knows who will screw things up and who won't. If Kidd wants Lawson, I'd use the DUI to see if you could pry Lawson away cheap for Knight and the Clippers pick.

That solves so many problems for us going forward. And we'd be dangerous in the playoffs.

I'd bring him back over Jorge. No doubt in my mind.

I'd love it so so much. Win now and later trade. Prevents us from paying Knight.

But these offers for guys like DMO, Canaan, etc.... I just do not get. These are low end players that will not become the talent that Knight is today.

I'd like to see the argument as to why Kanter is worthy but a guy like Motiejunas is low end. I'd much prefer Motiejunas to Kanter.

I've actually advocated getting one (or both) of those guys...I like Kanter's physicality and I like DMO offensive skill set. How has DMO's defense developed, or how would you compare it to Kanter?

I would wager they are both limited in some respects defensively.

Motiejunas is somewhat limited, Kanter is completely inept. D-Mo can guard NBA players, Kanter couldn't guard Yi's chair.

Hill's next year is a team option. I'd trade Ersan for just about any expiring.

That was my fear about Kanter...but then I look at him and think if Kidd can squeeze defense out of all these guys, he could surely do that with Kanter. Who knows? Sign me up for either of them, and I'd be pretty happy.

I don't think Kidd would trade Bayless.
