If Kobe had LeBron's supporting cast, Magic beat them too. It's as simple as that. Keep ignoring that point.

Blah, blah, blah. You still never even addressed the logic of the past argument, supporting cast. That is why your sig is comical as hell. But we don't need to go down that road again. Give LeBron Lakers frontcourt and he's winning a title this year, end of story.

Hypothetical, but I'm thinking Kobe Bryant leads Lebron's cast past the Magic. Dwight Howard was the best player in the last series. Kobe Bryant will be the best player in this series. Bryant is a totally different animal than you stat stuffer. Knowing how to win and then executing on the big stage is what seperates the two. Right now, Lebron isn't in Kobe's league. Kobe was THEE difference maker in the Olympics and he'll prove to be the difference maker in the Finals. Until Lebaby and fanclub bag the excuses and go out and win, he'll continue to sit at the kid's table.

To the victors go the spoils.

41% in finals. That's execution!

Kobe has outscored Howard, Hedo, and Lewis combined to this point.

Your rattled man. How can you state a hypothetical as fact? Do you believe yourself to be God? lol.

The fact is, if Kobe had LeBron's supporting cast you would be raving about how good Kobe's frontcourt is.

Well, it's common sense. You don't think LeBron/Gasol/Odom/Bynum get by Orlando? Funny.

I can't tell if this is serious or not, but no. Varejao, Wallace, Illguaskas, Odom, Gasol, Bynum. Any GM in the league takes the second trio, by a landslide. Odom and Gasol can actually create shots for themselves and others, in addition to being great rebounders.

Probably not. Lebron would dominate the ball and mismanage the game. Niether LeBass, Odom, Bynum, nor Gasol are closers. If you don't have a clutch 4th quarter closer, you probably lose.

Kobe has basically closed out the Magic in 3 quarters on the biggest stage. That's getting it done.

Not getting it done is losing to an inferior team when you allegedly have the best player in the game on your team (even typing that sounds hollow since LeRocafella hasn't won a thing to this point).

LOL at your hypothetical claims being common sense. I guess when you have no wins to hang your hat on, you have to create an alternate reality to build an argument. I'd still take Kobe in your bizzaro world. lol.

Blaming the supporting cast is a poor argument. They won 66 games - the best in the league. Get over it.

The fact LeFlop didn't involve his teammates as he dribbled around for 16seconds 5 feet outside the 3pt line before driving to the rim and getting bailed out by the referees is not his teammates fault. What were they supposed to do?

1. You're blatantly biased against LeBron, and have been all year
2. You obviously did not watch the series if that is what you believe happened

I'd love to see what the supporting cast for Cleveland shot vs. Orlando, on open jumper after open jumper created by LeBron. You can create the shot, you can't make the shot go in, that is up to your teammates.

Great game by the Lakers. It really pays to have a good coach (or a great one). You could see the adjustments they made after watching Mike Brown shoot himself in the foot game after game.

Yep. Jackson is the best coach in the game.

1. You make crap up and put it in a list as though it's fact.
2. I don't want to talk about LeFlop anymore - this is a playoff thread and last time I checked he's not in it. Perhaps you should should take your mancrush to the Cavs board where he's still relevant.

I don't have the figures in front of me but I believe at last count Mo was right around 36% for the series from the field and it's a reasonable guess to suggest Lebron created a lot of those shots. Mo wasn't the only member of the supporting cast to shoot poorly but given he was the most important scoring sidekick, yeah that isn't going to get it done.

This thread is pretty much unreadable with the LeBron/Kobe ****.

+2

They're both amazing players, neither is a Buck. Who gives a damn who is better, as if that could really be determined.
