Sure it is comical, but it looks terrible from a business perspective. DJ is meant to be a professional.

Nah Boozer, Turkoglu, McDyess, even Kidd signed with NYK after verbally agreeing with the Mavs

Don't like this situation at all, other than the great tweets. This shouldn't be allowed to happen as it sets a really bad precedent.

Too much time to think about the decision, ouch. I hope Cuban is effing furious, he has every right to be, but it's fun to watch him suffer a bit.

There needs to be a DeAndre Jordan/Clippers version of this.

The real reason that Deandre decided the Mavs maybe weren't right for him:

These tweets are funny simply because of how crazy this whole thing is, but they're also **** arrogant. They're really rubbing it in to Cuban/Mavs/Mavs fans who were excited about getting him. That doesn't even consider them not taking phone calls from the Mavs camp. Seriously, the bare minimum you could do is not keep them in the dark after you committed to signing with them.

Did you guys see Blake's other tweet with the chair? I was kind of shocked. The chair has really bulked up and playing great d since he went against Yi. Think we can poach him from the Clips?

Well at least the Mavs still have 37 year old Dirk and hopefully not injured Wes Matthews. What could go wrong?

Is this real life? This might be the oddest thing I've seen in professional sports in a LONG time. This is better than any soap opera. I want this to continue for a few more days, this is keeping me really entertained!

This would be crushing as a Mavs person. Moratorium is ridiculous.

Kidd pulled the same move on the Mavs only a few years ago.
