Really? I mean nice game offensively, against a team with no real bigs, but man he was torched on the other end, well him and everyone.

Sucks this team won't be in the tourney. The are growing up fast and could see them doing some damage and being a Cinderella sweet 16 team. Just too young right now and will be two wins out from making it at the end of the year.

They have to go 5-2 and 3 wins in the tourney or 6-1 with one win the tourney. Otherwise their rpi will be in the 70s. Very unlikely to get in with that.

They play creighton x2 nova and at butler. I don't see how they go 6-1 there.

There's a chance but it will take 2-3 upsets.

He's projected number 7 and I heard he was telling teams he was a one and done during recruiting. Stranger things have happened but I'm recruiting as if HE's spot is already free if Im wojo.

I don't know if i'd say they are growing up fast per say. Marquette players went out of their way trying to gag away leads really late in both overtimes. Multiple times i had to let out WTF are you doing as various players would do the last thing you'd want up 5 to 7 points inside a minute left.

They should have 2-3 more wins just because of that. Just stupid plays and TOs kill any late lead they have and end up loosing.

Still young but they are showing new things on o and recognizing how to play with ellenson. They are playing more as a team each passing game. Up 3 against creighton now

Win vs a bad team is still a win. Hella efficient game for cheatum (sp?) 5-7 FG for 20 points. 17 wins now. I think if they get 3 more to get to 20 and a win in the tournament they will get in. I don't think they get it done though. Nit team. Overall a much improved year from last. 6th youngest team in the country is playing well together.

He has the underrated, 4-year key player vibe to him. Too bad HE didn't come next year where I bet we would be a tourney caliber team.

If we keep playing well I think we could make some teams sweat in the Big East tournament. I mean after Nova and Xaiver, I think everyone is beatable. WE've gotten Providence twice already. Seton Hall has handed it to us but I wouldn't be scared to play them by any means. At least kind of making it interesting down the stretch.

Marquette one of the last 4 in...for the NIT.

I would think if they win 2 of 3 down the stretch, and 1 in the tournament that they would get in.

A huge game today. They get this and one in the tournament I really think they get a 12 seed. My super fandom might make it a biased opinion but they have some really good wins. Providence twice, Wisconsin in Madison, non conference tournament wins vs LSU and ASU.

Sounding like the NIT is pretty unlikely. How does everyone rate this year? I think on paper it was a step forward but I had higher (and maybe too greedy) expectations.
