Does that mean Nowak's girl is Natalie Portman?

Well done Nowak.

And the random RealGM dude who nailed her.

LMAO

But he's ok with it.

This is where I'm at. I'm BPA all day every day, but peak ceiling doesn't have to be the only factor that determines that. Parker might not have the highest peak ceiling, but if they get the sense that he's committed to working hard and getting the most out then you have a nice combo of high ceiling, high floor, and good teammate/culture guy. Pairing a go to scorer with do everything point forward Giannis is not a bad line of thining. Especially, and this is huge to me, if they're willing to play with youth and get ANOTHER top pick to go with those two. Then we might be on the verge of a legitimate, young and talented as hell big 3. :o :D

Anybody else a little worried the owners may continue to meddle after they make these draft pick decisions? I am.

Most owners meddle and I will bet that nearly every owner has a say in a top pick in a strong draft none the less. Now they may not have meddled as much or as badly as Kohl, but still.

As for picking Parker. They may love him but I really think its plain stupid to have picked Parker already. And not because I rate him a little bit lower (even below Exum), but more so because they haven't worked him or anyone of substance out yet.

I will be slightly bummed out if Parker is the guy chosen but still hold out hope that we got it right. For now he can be their guy after Embiid. Let's see where they stand (if we can) afterwards. My guess is that Wiggins stock will rise.

There is a guy on the Bill Michaels show right now that said he was at the event last night and he pulled Marc aside and asked him about the colors. According to this guy, Marc said he didn't like them and that they would be changing the logo and colors. So there's that little tid bit. It's conflicting to what others have said about them not changing the colors. So who knows.

EastSide, are you surprised that, based on your info, they appear to want to tank again next season but yet they don't want to keep Larry Drew? Why bring in a new coach now if the goal is to be bad again? Unless of course they can bring in a guy for the future that understands he has to play the young guys in year 1 and focus on developing their skills. This is my hope.

Both could be correct. They might be changing them in a couple of years but Edens was smart enough not to let that slip so he doesn't have fans waiting to buy any Bucks gear until the change.

I guess my question is did you get the sense that Drew is gone ASAP or that Drew isn't a part of our future. It could be that they are still going to let these guys ride out a year while they get their guys lined up. It is very possible to not want Drew but to still keep him in place for one more season. Just looking for clarification.

Ahh I see. I'll let EastSide respond, but the vibe I've been getting from reading everyone's accounts of last night is that Hammond and Drew will be fired sometime between the draft and the start of the season.

Against my better judgement I signed up for the Bucks raffle last night. Just now got a voicemail from a ticket guy trying to lure me back.

Might ring him back and tell him ill get season tix if we draft Wiggins.

Never thought of that angle. Makes a lot of sense.

That may have been how we got Giannis in the first place. He was going to be one of Atlanta's picks.

Which is almost exactly what BuckPack posted on here two weeks ago. 8-)

I just envision Lasry and Edens taking out Nowak's folded up flowchart he gave them last night that outlines all of Hammond's mis-steps over the prior six years.

I was wearing a vintage-looking T-shirt with the Bucks logo from the 70s/80s and the first thing Lasry said to me was how much he liked the look of it. He went on to bitch about how hard it is to find good-looking Bucks gear. So I definitely think they are interested in changing the looks, just maybe not right away.

I'd love to see a copy of this flow chart. Let's go Nowak, post that thing.

To be perfectly honest, if our new owners are going to meddle, **** it, meddle. It sounds like they "get it."

Bill Michaels had a guy call in that said he pulled Marc aside last night and said they needed new colors and Marc agreed.

Speaking of jerseys, does anybody want to buy a blank Bucks home Swingman jersey (XL plus 2)? New with tags. Best offer. DM me. *ducks*
