I don't think it's a good idea to get too high, or too low, on any of our draft picks or free agent acquisitions. Realistic expectations have been what they've been, for so long now, I just choose to hope that they get lucky, and the player pans out.

That's pure rationalization. We know personnel decisions have been meddled with frequently in the past during Hammond's stint here, we know Kidd parted ways with Brooklyn because he didn't have enough personnel influence there, and the Schwartz connection is way too obvious too ignore at this point. I have plenty of an idea. I don't know, but have enough info to believe it as a probability, and that's all you should need to be of an opinion.

I mean, if that is legitimately a picture of the graduating class then it would be absurdly easy to prove he's much older than he's claiming to be. That picture is only proof he was in school somewhere at some point at some age.

He's been running the same age since he migrated from Sudan. I really don't get this angle at all. He isn't Yi in China changing his age sometime in his teen years.

and yea it isn't that easy when to tell the difference between a 5 and 8 year old when they are super tall but also malnourished uneducated people, how would people in Australia be able to find out his real age?

So anyway I just got off the phone with someone from the Department of Immigration. Turns out looking up Thon's file for hell of it is a fireable offense so that's not happening. Anyway, he would have been age tested by doctors if he was running an age that was clearly taking the piss so you can rule out the 6 foot 11 year old pretending to be 6 angle.

he might of been listed younger for other reasons than basketball, does he have any older siblings? How old were his parents when he immigrated?
