Re: KIDD FIRED
Have a hard time wrapping my head around this since it's been a while since our last game, they had an excuse for a loss, and were still above .500. The timing came out of nowhere. Thought it would take at least another loss.
Prunty was underneath Kidd, so that switch might not make a significant difference in the long run. Should get a honeymoon effect because the scapegoating had to have worn thin. Go get Fiz. Don't think they should wait for the offseason. He's a good enough candidate to act fast on.
The biggest difference is going to be him not being around to kill all our assets, depth, and cap. Going to take some time to recover, but have to make the best out of the situation. Go get a center.

I think it would be quite funny to have Bo Ryan coach out this season.
Heck, it might even be good for the players.
But this summer, I hope to hell they make a hard run for Tony Bennett. He’s the best coach in college basketball period, he’s terribly underrated.
Khris Middleton - Beating up on Trash Can Teams since 1943. Invisible Man status otherwise.

Geez, i hope most of you have grabbed some pussy by now.
If that makes someone bad.. count me in
Grabbing pussy doesn't make you bad as long as its with the consent of the owner of said pussy. I'm sure most of us fall into that category.
The incident I'm referring to with Jason Kidd however allegedly happened in a night club in NYC, and it was not with consent and precipitated him getting traded out of New Jersey. Par for the course for a guy who slapped up his wife in front of their child.
Yeah, but he was a great passer.

Tragic for Kidd that he went from meeting expectations to not in such a short time frame.

Me too, and just call it interim. Make no promises for next season type of thing as I'd want a wide open search. What would he have to lose.
Why would Fizdale agree to that? He's currently getting paid out his Grizzlies contract and he's also being paid by ESPN. There's a 0% chance he'd do that.
He'd get money for it, assuming he can get it on top of the Grizzles money and it's not one of those where they pay the difference type situations and if he did well he'd have the leg up for the job next year with a top 5 player. He'd have the inside track to what will be the best available job in the offseason and a chance to get a relationship with Giannis that could get him the job.
...or he could wait until the offseason and compete for multiple jobs - including this one - with a guaranteed contracts that span several years.
There's a reason why no one ever does what you're suggesting.

Barry's only gonna come in for Game 7 of the First Round series after Prunty bolts.
