It's over guys. It happened and it's over.
Everybody lost(toronto, philly). Utah lost by 50 pts by dallas. These things can happen.
Move on. Stay united. Bucks are good. Bad nights will happen again. The good ones will be many more.
Let ersan have a bad game without criticizing him so harsh. He's very good this season.
Brook can't defend on the perimeter, we knew that. It doesn't matter, he brings far more positives with him.
Giannis will always getting the blame because he is the star and that's justified.
There was a time when kobe was getting blame for everything. And that happened in a market like LA. With all the pressure and the exposure. I'm sure Giannis has no problem with critics.
Move on.

At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

To real talk, I missed the first half but what is everyone's thoughts on not coming back with Lopez at the end? Haven't seen it mentioned here. I know Thon was a big part of the spark getting back in the game but Lopez didn't play again. In theory Gasol should be a great matchup for vs Gasol, I know the PnP D was the issue to deal with but a change of strategy could've got him back out there at the end.

Between him and Ersan they did a **** job of defending the PNR. They did it all night long.

The Bucks need to send Ersan on a two week sabbatical to a Russian medical facility for “rest.”

Yea I get that and I agree it's not a huge thing. But he's been great all year so I'd still like to find a way to have him out there, especially when the other team isn't playing a small lineup that can run him off the floor. After he was yanked, adjust the PnP defensive strategy and give it another shot. It's nothing I'm stomping my feet over and I get the trying to ride the hot hand and the guys who got you back in. But generally speaking there's a reason those guys are the bench guys and it's not easy for them to maintain it the longer they play. I was just surprised a bit by it.

Ersan, yea he's been rough the last few games but people need to relax a bit. He was awesome before that, he's a backup older player. He's gonna have some bad days but overall he is a great role player to have on your team.

Fans who left during crunch time to beat “Milwaukee traffic” represent everything wrong with the state of Wisconsin.

Find it particularly egregious in a town the size of Milwaukee.

Part of that is Bucks crowd (in the good seats) is significantly more corporate season tix than in years past

Sat downstairs a couple times and it's pretty easy to tell quickly who is there to just see the arena and "the scene" and who is there to watch the game and live and die with each possession.

Hopefully the halftime woes of people getting back to their seats becomes less of an issue. Looked like 70% empty crowd when 3Q started last night.

Ah, I see what you mean. I guess I'd add to it that it's probably somewhat countered by the amount of people coming in from significant commutes like Madison, FDL/Oshkosh types. Who knows though of course.

The Bucks shot 15% on wide open 3s. 3 out of 20. Memphis shot 11 out of 22.

He's only a semi-useful player when going all out with the energy. And that type of play is only sustainable in five minute bursts.

That said maybe we can use one five-minute burst of it each half. Have to see what Bud thinks of it going forward.

I'm all for Thon getting Henson's minutes in those 5-minute bursts. For all of Thon's faults, I think he's actually looked pretty good in his minutes this year with his per 36 numbers mostly equal to Henson's. Plus, he brings that play-to-play energy that has a larger (non box score) effect on a game than Henson's often lackadaisical energy.

How much of that is scheme, though? I thought Memphis just did a great job of executing against what the Bucks game them, forcing Brook and Ersan to have to recover 15-20 feet to the shooter. If that's the scheme, than that's tough for anyone.

Yea it'll happen. It says alot though that they kept it close until the end. The Boston Celtics game was another example where they didn't shoot as many 3s and found other ways to score.

Giannis knows exactly what he needs to clean up. I'm sure he's not overly impressed with himself either. He's usually very critical of himself.

The scheme is still new to these guys and should only get better and more consistent with playing time together.

Lastly, I think someone early on said they didn't like some of Buds lineups. 14 games into the season, maybe Bud is trying lineups to see what works. Why would you do that in these MUST WIN games?

Pretty everything that could have gone wrong did and we still lost to a good team by only 3. It feels more like we just ran out of time to outscore them + the refs, than that they really outplayed us if that makes sense.

Couldn't help but notice that the "dagger" in our last two losses was an undersized guard being defended absolutely perfectly and still hitting a very low-percentage shot in the paint to help seal it. Very frustrating but sometimes there's just not much you can do besides tip your cap.

Without looking, havent our last 6 games been against the current top 6 seeds in the West?

Refs were bad, but Bucks (Giannis) were CARELESS with the ball. Finally felt good about not getting owned by Marc Gasol, but I was wrong.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is going to be really, really good. Get young Chris Bosh vibes from his game.
