Not just 3 1sts; also 2 trade options on 1sts and a very good backup guard in George Hill. And still no confirmation that Giannis is going to sign.

so all through Giannis' prime we lose late 1st round picks for three years and if NO is better than us during Giannis' late 20's we swap late firsts? I dont' really get what the big deal is. These picks are essentially worthless and could be bought barring a disaster (which there may be protection on).

I guess I want to see the team on the floor. Lots of moving parts, lots of guys who are used to a high usage, lots of expectations.
There will be some misunderstandings to sort out for sure.
It could work I guess, but don't take it for granted.

The Jrue isn't an upgrade or just a marginal upgrade over Bled takes are beyond baffling. I know you guys watched Bled in the playoffs, surely you can understand the regular season comparison between them is utterly meaningless, right? The whole appeal of Jrue is him giving you reg season Bled+ production/impact in the playoffs.

x2 coming from a staunch Bledsoe defender.

Yep. Need to rewatch those 2018 POs
24/6/6 while being the best backcourt defender on the floor. I hope he still has it in him.

Jrue Holiday seems like a solid player but Brandon Jennings has the it factor that we need to be targeting at #10. Terrence Williams should also be in play.

Lol, again Jrue's played 9 playoff games since 2015. There's not enough evidence to assume he's going to be good in the playoffs in 2021. Hopefully he will.

There's plenty of evidence that Bledsoe wont be good. Feel's like a better gamble to me.

It's a huge gamble - especially while Giannis remains unsigned.

It is, but I dont see many other options unless you wanted Paul and his albatross of a contract tethered to that withering body.

They could have gotten a lot of players giving up 3 to 5 FRP's plus Hill and Bledsoe. Rubio probably could have been had for much less and might have been a better choice.

Jrue will be an upgrade but I just don't see him being worth the price paid. His lack of playoff history doesn't mean we automatically know he'll be clutch performer. His injury history is something to consider as well.

Making the deal because Giannis obviously makes it a win. But if Giannis trusted the team, all those picks/swaps could have actually gotten a bigger upgrade at the trade deadline and didn't have to be used to win the bidding war against Phil and Boston.

I hope Jrue is great, so we'll see if he can be there difference maker

The playoff struggles were not unique to Bledsoe, our entire team had a drop off in the playoffs the past two years. Bledsoe’s playoff woes were indicative of systemic issues that Jrue will not be immune to either. We will see how much better he is but man his TS% have been ugly his entire career

Excellent choices, both players.

Now it's time for a new coach!

Just a terrible deal, we got robbed ... do we keep this year's draft pick ?
Don't know the details on the Bogdanovic deal but it looks really good.
Simiral package with AD for freaking Jrue bliah

Giannis must NOT sign the Supermax cause I believe these moves are just targeting to keep him in Mil and NOT to win a Championship

Agreed on all points. The 24th pick was included in the deal. We have no picks Wednesday unless we buy. I hope we buy a couple 2nd rounders. We literally have no bench. Get a good carpenter.
