To be fair, Kidd took the Bucks from afterthought to 6 seed with very little bona fide NBA talent in his first year. He looked like a positive. It was the second year when he jettisoned the vets and brought in the trash that things started to go sideways. The evaluation of Kidd as a coach was always going to take 2-3 years. Obviously, if they win the championship this year, that's out the window, but if not, let's see how things are going in Dallas in 2024.
