I’d love to grab Garuba if he gets waived

Would like to grab him regardless. Wonder if there's a consolidation trade they could be interested in. Tre and Garuba for Grayson work?

Works for me, not sure OKC will be happy until they have all the lotto picks

I think they will need to waive someone before this trade with Atlanta can even go through. Aaron Wiggins is on a non guaranteed deal, he’d be a great pickup as well. Wiggins for free, Mann/Garuba /2nds for Allen would be some good business.

When do they start moving picks to try and compete? Has to be coming soon right?

The in-season tournament is at least something to throw into a boring regular season, let’s see what happens. I’m mildly optimistic.

Yea I don't really get the hate towards it. Games in November and December generally mean basically nothing, this atleast adds a little something to some games and I'm willing to bet the NBA Will heavily pressure teams not to rest anybody during these games who aren't legit hurt

We host New York & Washington, play at Miami & Charlotte

I am curious how the "Wildcard" team from each conference will be decided. Assuming next best record but if multiple teams tie it'll be interesting to see how they break it

**** Adam Silver knows exactly what he's doing putting Miami in our bracket. East C looks like a cakewalk for Boston if their offseason hasn't been a net negative.

Give the winner an extra draft pick, say the first pick in the second round. There has to be something worth playing for. Otherwise it's just another Vegas showcase for getting their own team. And why not just divide it by divisions since divisions are meaningless in every other way.

I actually agree with this. Give the winner pick #31 in the draft and have group play be the divisions rather than random groups

Will take your idea a step further. Top four teams get bonus picks 31, 35, 39, 43.
