It’s weird because Giannis has been insane this year, the shot selection is still bad but impact is as good as anybody in the league. But if you watch it, you can tell that if we don’t make a shift from a Giannis centric offense, we’re going to bow out early again. If Dame is not getting up shots and setting things up for guys, he’s a huge negative. It’s supposed to be a perfect fit but it just hasn’t clicked. Coaching has been garbage but it’s on those two to figure it out too.

I think the problem is Dame clearly needs the ball in his hands to establish rhythm whether it's getting his shots or setting up other people. That math changes when there's another guy who also needs the ball in his hands. I don't think you can ask Dame to just turn it on at certain parts of the game without letting him build up to that. He NEEDS the ball in his hands.

I think the problem is Dame is a slow starter and streaky shooter. He looked great in game 1 with Giannis in the game. He looked horrible in some games where the plan was to play Dame when Giannis sat and we ran the offense through him. For the love of God people this is not a Dame/Giannis issue, this is an it's early in the season and we will be wildly inconsistent with all of the recent changes.

Heat went 8-9 after signing Lebron, Wade, Bosh with a young coach in Spoelstra. Does nobody else see this?

and he will lose it again, then find it again, then lose it again....the hope is the consistency kicks in at the end of the season and everyone stays healthy
