Assumed he was expiring. Oh lord that's a brutal contract.

Player option, which he'll definitely pick up.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Why does Portland do that though? They don't need Oladipo for anything, Marjon is a bum prospect, so all they get is their 2nd back.

Whatever magic you have to work to add Dorian Finney-Smith, do it. Thybulle's a great defender but we really need that swiss-army knife guy who can rebound and switch when we go small, and last night just proved it more than ever. I wish Eason was actually available, but I seriously doubt it.

How is Reggie Bullock's defense nowadays?

Eason would be phenomenal. He rebounds like a center and can defend all over the court.

He’s been weirdly terrible finishing at the rim to start his career, but I’d bank on that improving.

Thybulle is a decent, not great player who won’t be a long term piece for them.

They get their high second back, and a prospect. I think Portland would be ecstatic about this deal.

Houston would be the team more likely to say no, imo.

Where is Griffin getting called out by Bobby being discussed? We might need to keep Bobby around after all.

Wondering if Pat and Jae would have been helpful against Indy and I'm honestly not sure. You lose the Marjon minutes. Maybe that's a plus. I honestly don't know which means probably not.

Not having to keep Brook out there for spacing and offense and replacing him with a hot shooting Crowder while being able to switch and get a few more stops might’ve helped. That’s kinda been our Achilles heel this whole time though. When we play teams where we should switch, but we need Brook out there for spacing and offense so you have to hope the opposing center misses their open 3’s and the ball handler misses their floaters.

I think Bobby needs to figure out how to not suck at defense.

Marjon has been disappointing for sure, I think most of us like AJJ better now as a prospect, so probably should dangle him out there in trades & see if there is any interest.

seems like that's almost the entire team save Giannis and Brook when he isn't played out on the perimeter

One thing with Bobby’s defense - this isn’t just an AG issue, he’s been declining on the defensive end since the first year with Bud. The wheels have fallen off this year in part because Griffs given him the green light where Bud tried to reign him in, but this feels like a sinking ship to me. He was a negative on that end last year, too.

Yeah, need to stop foisting every player's limitations on the coach. This was a clear trend that's been pointed out many times and a lot of people responded with the usual "Bud's an idiot who had him play drop". He's had plenty of "traffic cone" moments the last several years now and has been yanked from the lineup in multiple playoff series. This is who he is.

Was trying to come up with a 4 quarters for a dollar trade like the Lakers did last year for Middleton but I can't imagine a team giving up any value for him at this point. I'm sad.

Every couple pages there’s a post about trading Khris and I just don’t get it.

He’s been the player that takes our offense from very good to elite. Even our defense is better with him out there, because he knows where to be on the court, and he’s a solid communicator. He’s been awesome this year, and he’s playing that third option, connector role really well.
