So the Bucks bring in Doc to "consult", the team immediately starts playing its worse stretch of ball all season, and now you want to hire Doc to take the place of the coach he presumably help sink?

Just **** hire Atkinson, FFS.

I am glad that we are changing course, it had to happen

I am sad for Griffin, it was his dream but it did not end well
I am terrified that Rivers is the frontrunner

The hiring of Doc Rivers makes this kind of meh for me. If this turns into Kenny Atkinson? Then I'm excited.

Grief probably couldn’t implement any suggestions Doc had as the players lost respect for Grief long ago.

Joe Prunty, Vin Baker, that random Australian guy, quite a braintrust for Doc to draw from

Hoping the Doc stuff is a smokescreen and they hire Atkinson but it's sure sounding like it's Doc

So they want to hire the man who was giving advice to the guy they just fired?

Crazy how he did that with no significant roster changes!

If Bud gets a pass for not having Dame.

Then you have to give Griffin a pass for not having Jrue, Wes & Jevon.

I am 110% ecstatic that Griffin just got fired, but fair is fair.

We had great defenses without those guys under bud. Jrue never played on a great defense til he came here. Scheme influences defense more than personnel in my opinion.

Prunty will have his jersey retired. The number will read "interim."

Or maybe just retire it temporarily.
