Because it’s Murray, Lillard, and Giannis.

and consistently read posts about how everyone misses the players we traded away.... but yeah we need some new people to blame for everything

I think the idea was to have Murray be the POA defender, but he's not been much of a defender since his injuries. However, if Dame keeps having an inconsistent offensive output, coupled with Khris' unknown injury status, Murray's offense might be more of a help than his defense at this point.
You'd have to do some back channelling and make sure Murray would be cool with a role like that before making a move. I think basketball fans in general fall in a trap of thinking guys would be good for a certain role but if the player doesn't actually want to do it, it rarely works out.

It's the Jermi Grant in Denver situation, like yeah he was a pretty nice role player fit on a contender but he didn't see himself that way. Hell it's kind of played out that way with Murray in Atlanta.

Not sure we have the same doctors up here that those guys have access to down in Miami.

I don't remember a deadline being this dry just shy of 24 hours to go...

Khris vs Butler issue:

Khris won a championship. Butler didn’t.

Khris is 2 years younger than Butler.

Could just be playing the press but Marc Stein saying he's heard the Bucks' interest in Wiggins "has been overstated" seems significant.

Much better if it's the Bucks who aren't so interested vs our assets being looked down upon to that extent too.

Athletically he's about 15 years older though.

Khris’ injury of yesterday had nothing to do with his present overall health. It happened only because KD didn’t provide a safe landing place for Khris and KD was penalized for that action. So it is v unfair to blame Khris after yesterday’s injury.

Mids can still be a productive player but injuries always will be a concern. Counting on him to through a playoff run is risky..I bet is is out 6 to 8 weeks now.

Ha yeah Giannis is a big x-factor.

Dame >> Trae too (once Doc gets him going at least).

Khris was number two while Butler was the bus driver

Khris is 2 years younger than Butler.

Excited to see the 1st domino fall. I’m hoping it’s the Bucks upgrading the roster in some way but I’m starting to get a weird feeling we will end up sitting on our hands. Let’s see how a little reverse psychology works here ;)

Not believing any of the possible smoke-screen stuff. I'm actually starting to think Wiggins is a legit possibility if we strike out on our preferred options, which is a little scary. All signs point to the Warriors being desperate to move that contract. I think they'd take Pat/Bobby + stuff and run.

I was about to say, in athletic years, Khris looks old enough to be Butler's grandfather.

That’s pretty disingenuous. He literally landed on someone’s foot due to them not giving him space

Wiggins has to be overstated. GSW is probably trying to drive his value up. Bringing in Wiggins makes no sense with his salary. As someone mentioned, I don't even think that guy likes basketball.

I don't get the concern here. He rolled his ankle and continued to play. It's probably swollen and he should be out 1-2 weeks. But it's Khris so it will be 3 weeks.
