Black Myth: Wukong snuck up on me. Sounds like a really good game when it works, but it's buggy. Might get it on launch. Gonna check out some more reviews first.

I don't really know anything about it, but holy **** it's beautiful. The lighting looks next-level.

I hit 96 for the first time. And then I hit 97 for the first time. No cheese, didn't even use an omen. I can't believe how safe I was able to make this build feel. I'm going to try to farm for a Nimis, but I got a ways to go. Even liquidating everything, per Wealthy Exile I'm still only 1/3 of the way there.

EA November 15. Not sure what that looks like for a F2P game; likely something like longevity with PoE1.

first mini boss took me like 10 tries, but the actual boss (i think) was relatively easy.

Are Steamdecks or its competitors to the point where you would recommend one as a sole PC gaming solution? I'm interested in picking something up but I don't want a huge tower, mostly because I don't have any place to put it. So something in the form of a mini PC is what I'm looking for. But if a portable is good enough these days and can be hooked up to a display, I'd be interested in that too.

Steam deck is a switch on steroids, but it’s not a full on replacement for an actual pc setup. for your use case it seems worthwhile. Just make sure to get the OLED version

If you’re interested in a SteamDeck, you can buy mine haha. Haven’t touched it in months as I always game on my desktop and I’ve found when I do travel I never end up playing it.

(if you're serious I might take you up on that)

But my switch is why I'm hesitant to go with a portable. I've probably used it in handheld mode a total of 30 minutes since I bought it when it came out. I think that's mostly the library of games, or lack thereof. But still, I think the only mobile games I've ever cared about were a couple Fire Emblem entries on the 3DS.

Send me a DM with a price. Also have the official dock it came with. I just don’t use it enough to keep it. Original 512GB version that was probably used for 20 hours at most haha

How's Black Myth Wukong performing on PS5? Should I wait for a few patches?

I only played briefly but it was performing perfectly for me. The Youtube videos I saw reviewing the performance all said it was playing great on the PS5.

I tried so hard to like the NCAA game, but the dynasty mode is so lacking and the defense is so frustrating to try and play with. Like if my team is a 92 overall and the other team is a 72 I don't think the DB's should be getting smoked on every route. Not to mention bad teams even have these random ass god moments where they just break a tackle and house it (even like a 75 overall player).

I don’t think I’ve ever played a game that I thought was average at best more than CFB25. Every hour I played the less I liked it. Checked and I’m at like 125 hours lol

I think they aced some big things (atmosphere, graphics, transfer portal, etc) but as you’ve both pointed out the actual gameplay lacks in some key areas. In an effort to get overtime and final snap winning plays.. there are moments leading up to that where the game will change the mechanics to get their preferred results (Ive called cover four and dropped all four DBs back, only for the computer to inexplicably slow the FS so a WR can blaze around him for a 60 yard score at the end of the half/game. These things happen enough (Ive been the #1 team and the worst in the game) where I can tell its programmed in.

Ironically, these 45-52 OT games that made it so fun to play the first few weeks, feel contrived and inevitable over time, and I gave up a dynasty in year two and don’t play anymore because I was sick of the computer deciding what was going to happen instead of my playcalls and stickwork.

Just so dumb. I also can't simulate any games in dynasty cause my team is bound to get upset so I have to manually sim all of these games that should just be free wins (even if i got a random loss i wouldn't be mad). Like why not have different settings packages for players to choose from. Realistic would actually be like the real NCAA where yeah Georgia is going to smoke Whitewater by 70+

Glad I never picked it up. From all I heard, have a feeling I'd be super frustrated with it. Maybe once it's $20.

You would, I don’t even want to list all the issues I have with it. Even with the gameplay being pretty solid, there are enough issues that go with it (just speaking gameplay) that make it hard to play for long. And then the modes themselves are just bad.
