Exactly. Khris is done and the Bucks can't have 35Ms on the books for 20ish mins in 40-50 games ... Maybe. His value was near nothing which is why we had to attach a rookie to get back an essentially distressed asset.

Love the Guy. Buck for life but I understand moving him now. Our time with Giannis is ticking... Fast.

That pick is to Boston

Well ****.

From the little I've seen, I think it may be Phoenix's 2nd.

Agreed, if it could have magically been Marjon we’d probably be applauding the move. That tells me the deal is probably ok, but just hard to get excited about Kuzma and hard to let go of a 6’5 speed demon on a team this slow.

He also had some business collaboration with one of the minority owners of the Bucks I seem to remember.

I dunno. I think we're better today than we were yesterday. I'm sure Horst tried to get Jokic for Midds but Denver probably wanted the '31 first and we can't do that.

Per 36 stats this year:

Middleton: 19.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 2.5 TO, 1.1 steals, splits .512/.407/.848, .219 USG
Kuzma: 19.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 3.0 TO, .8 steals, .420/.281/.602 splits, .268 USG

So yeah, I'm going to disagree with you.

Mids can’t play 36 minutes so that is useless

Bucks know Khash's medicals better than us, but it's much easier to imagine him being a playoff contributer than Kuzma.

If getting worked over by Washington in a trade is the best Horst can do, it's time to for him to go

I don't believe we lost a 1st round pick, just a 2028 pick swap. We still have our 2031 1st rounder and are below the 2nd apron.

I would highly suggest a dedicated "Thank you Khris" thread.

We lost the 1st rounder we used last summer. That's what I meant.

Assuming that is the type of second, hoping like 3 or 4 2nds come in on the deal

But seriously, folks. Do you know how many times I watched Midds get so turned around on defense that he ended up playing defense with his back to the guy he was guarding? THE GUY WITH THE BALL? It was bad, y'all.

Not saying Khris can't get back to being Khris, but dude should have been traded a season or two ago if we're being honest. Should have been Khris instead of Jrue.

Also is 36 minutes of Kuzma better than 20 minutes of Middleton and whoever plays the rest that night? I guess we'll see!

According to John Hollinger on The Athletic trade deadline live update blog:

"Milwaukee also will get two small trade exceptions out of this, worth 8.1 million and $2.8 million."

Oh, the trade. Yeah, Kuz can run the floor, can switch on 3/4, and as a third option, he can light it up at times. He's firmly between Taurean Prince on the low end and Tim Thomas when he's cooking.

The AJ part of it is disappointing. But Tyler Smith is the better prospect, anyway. Write it down.

The ship has sprung a leak. It has been real. Good sailing with you all. Captain Horst needs to go down with the ship.

Lowe is right. There is a version of Kuzma that would be a positive contributor if he knows his role and actually gives a ****. Being stuck on a loser franchise will cause a lot of bad habits.

I guess it's possible he'll play better now but I don't think Kuzma is shooting 60% on free throws because the Wizards were using him wrong
