If you don’t like either team this outcome is the best you could hope for. Hali and Indy denied in a turn of basketball karma. OKC gets a title courtesy of the best player going down in game 7. Will be a far bigger asterisk than Durant’s shoe.

There's something deeply unfair about a psychotic competitor like McConnell being limited to a 6'0 frame and mid athleticism, if dude had prime Westbrook's body he might legit be the greatest player of all time lol

Especially if Indy can make this interesting in the 4th. Aside from McConnell it feels like they are letting go of the rope. Need a Spicy P and Nembhard special.

Guys like him HAVE to develop that competitive nature. Naturally athletic guys can coast a quite a bit. That’s not Russ per se, but it applies league wide.

I think part of it is evening out luck. Went from the luckiest team in the league to being cursed in the biggest game of the year.

Much like middle schoolers, a lot of people here aren’t able to emotionally disconnect from multiple losses, and instead of respecting a great run, choose to live in the past and get sensitive over an objectively better team eliminating us over and over again.

Chet's a big factor in most of these games all-around. And he's in his 2nd season. Give players time to develop before defining them!

Listen, I don't think OKC would have won this series w/out the Hali injury. But it's amazing they've progressed this much early in 2 of their 3 core player's careers. This title is a bonus to them. Though there's still no guarantee they'll duplicate it in this new climate.

I cannot imagine how torturous this is for Pacers fans. Team gives you hope for a giant chunk of the game by fighting and hanging tough despite the Haliburton injury, even having a lead at halftime, only for it to be ripped away in the late 3rd/early 4th. Made even worse knowing that next year is likely lost with the Haliburton injury.
