Durant hasn't been good, but it's just the start of the Playoffs and I'm sure he will arrive. Durant is the best player in the world and he will show up soon enough. I'm glad OKC got through that game last night despite the refs taking every Dirk defender out of the game.

Still makes much more sense to assess fouls as team fouls rather than personal fouls.

Disappointing with all of the injuries so far, but Atlanta and LAC both have made their respective series much more intriguing.

I feel fairly confident LeBron is the best player in the world. I think LUKE23 dislikes him about as much as any basketball fan I have ever talked to about LeBron, yet he is willing to admit he is the best player in the world. :P

Yeah, no kidding. Durant is just the guy "cool" people are supposed to call the best in the world, and it's laughable. Durant would have been relegated to being a Reggie Miller type of player in the 90's, and you're absolutely right that he's only an MVP candidate because the NBA keeps changing the rules to give perimeter scorers more and more advantages.

Durant would have been a dominant scorer in any era. But yes, he doesn't have the well rounded games of say a prime Kobe, Jordan, LeBron, even Wade.

It's all just opinion anyhow, but no matter what kind of stats Lebron puts up doesn't detract from his folding ass. This is the year he HAS to get a title so we will see. If Durant gets a title this year, he will have to go through Dirk, Kobe, Duncan and Lebron to do it (most likely).

You can take Lebron, I'll take Durant and I'm comfortable with that.

Uh, he's still just a baby and his game is pretty well-rounded. Maybe he doesn't get the assist numbers Lebron does, but who cares? It's all about how you view the game.

If I'm re-drafting the entire League, I'm taking Durant 1st.

But this conversation has gone round before. To each their own and we all watch the game differently.

You watch the game wrong if you think Durant is better than LeBron.

Just sayin'. :D

Durant would have crushed people in the 90s just like he is now. It's hilarious how the past players and generations are always glorified.

I'm cool with you liking Lebron more. That's your choice. I take Durant all day.

It's cool. I think Lebron fans have no clue, but that's okay too. He's a chump who puts up great numbers. If that's your thing, then go with it.

No doubt this is the season Lebron HAS TO WIN, correct?

I do think LeBron is the best on the planet, but he also needs to win titles to cement the legacy. That's how it works in a sport that is driven so strongly by the top players, and that's how it will continue to work into the future. I mean, look at the East now that Rose is out. Miami has a cakewalk trip to the Finals. They (he) really have zero excuse not to win it this year.

I still think Miami is extremely weak in the middle. I could see them losing to a team like LA or OKC that has superior bigs that can pound them on the glass and protect the rim.

I do think LeBron needs titles to go on to be one of the best ever. I'm just baffled that anyone doesn't think he's the best player on the planet. Makes no sense, honestly.

Basically I can see a team like OKC beating them because I think Durant, Harden and Westbrook are good enough to equal out (or surpass, since Westbrook vs. whoever Miami plays at point is a massive mismatch) LeBron/Wade... and I think Ibaka/Perkins could seriously outplay Bosh/Haslem.

Boston on a 28-10 run just got a 1 point lead on Atlanta with 3:29 to go.
