Exactly what I was hoping for.

If Monta and Jennings were gone I don't see why you would want Redick gone too.

If you don't wanna pay Jennings 4/40, I don't see how ANYONE would want to pay a scrub like Redick 40 mil

Look at it this way guys: If the Bucks made good moves, would they still be the Bucks we know and love?

Right. Like I said before, I don't think you can be too mad at this trade, it's more of a "dissapointed" that we couldn't complement it when it was right there for the taking. It will piss off Monta, and he will be gone, which is a good thing. Harris may never pan out and was a sunk cost for this team. It's just we coulda had such a great line-up without Ellis and with Smith. We could've basically jumpstarted the process this year, rather than waiting till next year. Redick's value certainly won't be increasing, and I doubt ANY team would be paying him the money that "worries" us.

BJ / Redick / Smith / Illy / Sanders starting line-up. That would've been a damn good one.

Like someone said above, this is a Kohl move through and through. He just hates to give up what he thinks are "great players" according to visiting team broadcasters, and doesn't even pay attention to the reality.

For the most part, none of them like it. No one thinks it makes any sense.

If they wouldn't trade Monta Ellis for Josh Smith, what makes you think they'd play Redick over him?

As if that even makes us a better team

SF position is our problem all season and Harris still couldn't get minutes there. If it is one coach we could say "crazy coach hates him". But 2 coaches decide not to play him and they see him at treining every day. Hammond gave up from Sessions and CV as well and he wasn't wrong. Harris is nice streetball player but to play in NBA you need to be able to play defense. Lamb is nothing. Udrih < Redick.

Like this trade. We will see less minutes for both Jennings and Ellis because unlike Udrih, Redick can play defense and have 3 point shoot. He will get his minutes and swag brothers will get less. When we put Redick, Dunleavy and Ersan all in at the same time we will finaly have spacing and offense.

Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

Crazy coach #2 is Skiles' clone.

Oh, that's right. Us.

Burn the whole damn BMO Harris Hell-Hole down and just start over.

And **** off Herb you delusional nitwit.

This word gets thrown around so damn loosely. Our pick is an asset. Larry is an asset. Tobias was not. His greatest value to this team was the hope that we could package him as a sweetener with a real asset to net us a good player/pick.

BTW, why do you guys think Ellis wasnt dangled to ATL? They already have Lou Will and Teague long-term, and they are both SG-like PGs.. they'd have to flip Monta to a 3rd team, but Smoove would have more value. Rumor is when GSW checked in on Smoove they wanted Curry... wouldnt the Hawks ask you guys for Sanders or Henson, if not Jennings?

All that matters is if you think JJ is the difference between the 8th seed and the 7th seed. I don't think we catch the Celtics (who got better today) and all we did was waste an asset. If we stay as the 8th seed, we don't need JJ to get to swept.

Oh come the **** on. What was he added to to sweeten the pot for Redick, a good player? Guys worth less then him. He was the best asset we were giving up by far, and Orlando surely wasn't trading him for something other then an asset. Tobes was an asset, and one we really shouldn't have traded to get the 8th seed we basically have locked up.

So it looks like all those that guessed a deckchair move in the prediction thread win the prize.

Funny to see this being the 4th straight year Hammond makes a move and while many hate it the exact same 4 or so posters spin it as not being bad for the Bucks. I'm thinking those guys work for the Bucks.

This move does nothing to help us now or in the future. This is your prototypical Hammond trade and another in a long list of moves that has and will keep us locked in NBA mediocrity.

This is like a Nightmare. Im still in shock. No Josh Smith and we have Ellis still on the roster. The only thing that could make me feel better would to turn on my TV and see the Bradly Center being burnt down. Second thing would on Sat for Ellis Bobblehead night everyone would throw thier bobblehead onto the court.

For all you Breaking Bad fans:

What the Bucks did was a half-measure, when we should've taken a full-measure (getting rid of Ellis for Smith)
