I sure hope this doesn't happen. I can't imagine they'd be interested seeing as they already turned down deals for Gay and Asik.

pretty much says that the Bucks would be interested because Gasol is expiring

Would rather target Perkins and Lamb if we're doing a salary dump. Perkins is gone by the time we need cap space anyways.

Gasol would probably retire if he got traded here.

I wonder how much value Ersan can really bring in for us. Would it be possible to get OKC to give us a guy like Reggie Jackson along with taking on the rest of Perkins' contract in exchange for Ilyasova and another guy that can backup Westbrook like Ridnour? I'd be all over something like that if we could.

I also wonder if the Spurs would have interest in him. God knows they love foreign players, and he could be a nice fit on that team IMO. They don't really have any young pieces I would like, but we could take back Matt Bonner and Jeff Ayres along with a future 1st round pick (which I would imagine would be quite valuable once Duncan and Ginobli retire.

Really, really don't think Ersan gets you Lamb or Jackson even with taking Perkins.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if it did as well. It's a shame he's struggled so much so far this year. It would work a lot better for us if he were having another 47% FG, 44% 3PT kinda year.

Lakers won't take long-term contracts like Ilyasova and Mayo unless they actually wanted to keep them as key guys going forwards, which I would doubt they'd feel comfortable with now.

I think Ilyasova/Knight gets it done. OKC would not hesitate putting Knight at the 2.

Hammond's gotta get on the phone with his buddy in Detroit right now and push an OJ Mayo for Charlie Villaneuva deal. The Rev can sell Dumars on the Pistons being one piece away and that adding Mayo would give them a starting five that could compete with the Indiana team they just beat on the road. We take back CV's expiring deal and & Singler or Gigi Datome and Detroit makes a push for the second round. Or they implode. Either way they'd have OJ Mayo.

Bobcats Could Make Kidd-Gilchrist Available In Trade Talks

Ilyasova/Mayo for Kidd-Gilchrist/Gordon

Guessing it'll be unpopular here right now but I'd do Sanders straight up for Schroder.

I think we'd then have our PG of the future, Giannis, Henson, and then would take Embiid if he's there where we pick. If we don't get Embiid, we can put Henson at the 5 and find a different 4.

Call it a calculated risk - get your PG locked down, open the door for the best player in the draft in advance (Embiid) (moving Sanders for commensurate value at a position of need), if you can't get him Embiid, you still have a guy who is probably redundant with the guy you're trading anyway (Henson) and you can still draft BPA more or less in the draft, and you have the added bonus of probably weakening yourself for the remaining part of this year by losing Sanders and adding a 19 year old green PG.

The question to me is whether the Hawks would do it.

Ugh. I really don't see it with Schroeder.

I was skeptical pre-draft but have come to really like him. I think he can be a very good PG.
