If the Bucks don't end up with Embiid or Parker I will always wonder if Lasry didn't get his way or if he is just one sly son-of-a-gun.

Haha I totally witnessed that conversation. I was next in line after you to talk with him.

I saw Nowaks flow chart. It was well done, but man did it take the wind outta my sails. Seeing Hambone's failures all written out together reminded me of when I read Jeffrey Dahmer's wiki page.

JimmyTheKid wrote:I doubt any of these guys "want to be in MKE." Nobody is saying to their agents, "do everything you can to land me in Milwaukee." Its probably the exact opposite. As I've mentioned, nobody wanted to be drafted by the Clippers for a looooooong time. They just sold for 2 BILLION. Matt Garza, a Milwaukee Brewer, told Jeff Smardzija to "pitch his way out of Chicago." Its all about the state of the organization. I don't give a sh*t if Exum doesn't want to play here. I doubt anyone wants to play here right now. If he's the best player available player on your board when its your turn to pick, you take him. Same goes for Embiid, Wiggins, or Parker.

As far as I'm aware the only person who legitimately might not be interested in coming to Milwaukee at this point is Embiid. I'm getting the vibe that ESBF's speculation was his opinion and that it isn't fact. If Exum is working out here that notion is dispelled.

Michael (Milwaukee) wrote:Why are the Bucks so unappealing to agents? New ownership, good young talent. Is it just Milwaukee?

Chad Ford (1:15 PM) wrote: They aren't. They aren't having a problem getting any of the top guys in. I know there's been a lot of talk out there that no one wants to play for Milwaukee, but the truth is Parker, Wiggins and Exum will all workout there and are willing to play in Milwaukee. There's a bigger question mark around Embiid, but that's true for all 30 teams right now. The Cavs and Embiid's agent are working on coming to terms on a visit and physical for Embiid. His agent may wait to see how that goes before scheduling other teams.

Hate to break it to ya, but they were probably cheering for your Wiggins jersey. :D

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but I caught some of John Hammond on SVP in my car about 45 mins ago. He said the only way Embiid is not coming to MKE for a visit is if he gets a guarantee from CLE.

As of right now that seems to be Embiid's #1 goal : getting that guarantee. That was what I meant to imply. Hammond's already said that all of the top players were *willing* to workout for Milwaukee.

Why wouldn't I be ok with it? If I ever went on a date with a chick who was a virgin... I would run as fast as I could away from her.

Very true. Just wouldn't want to picture the actual person I guess. But none the less I was just being silly that's all.

OK, I'll leave it at that.

I'm terrible at understanding context & tone online.

Sorry if you were offended, I was just joking around.

As a general cultural rule, if you see an Australian ribbing you it's usually a sign of affection, so you don't need to doubt if you're liked or not. Our psyche hasn't progressed much past pulling pigtails in most human interactions. It sometimes amazes me that Bogut's been able to be based in the US for so long without ever having some confusion about the stuff he says and the way he acts. ;)
