Sounds like The Game is going to be the new home of the Packers after 90 years with WTMJ. That will be weird.

It kind of stinks they are moving off of WTMJ, it’s nice driving around the state and just having the game on 620. Even though every little town has a radio station that airs the packers games too, those stations fade out after 20 miles. WTMJ is the only Milwaukee station receivable in northern Illinois, Packers fans there won’t be happy, WTMJ gets a lot of listeners there especially for packers games.

Agreed. 620 is always reliable for having a signal from long distances and as you said some FM stations fade fast.

There was some talk, and hope, that BA might take the Bucks TV gig. Not only didn't that happen but he's cut way back on Brewers games next year, only doing 50. Matt Lepay, who filled in on some Brewers games, is out as his Badger duties are apparently expanding. Jeff Levering takes over for most of the Brewers TV coverage and they will hire a new radio guy. Uecker is expected to be back for home games.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I am sad about BA taking a very reduced role. But I will say I really like Levering on the tv side. He brings a radio style to the broadcast that I appreciate

Would have loved BA on the Bucks broadcast. Honestly, if I was one of the owners, I'd personally hand the man a blank check to come work for the team, because he's that good and adds that much to the broadcast. I won't be shocked if in the next few years he becomes TNT's new (and less creepy) "Marv Albert" and goes full time with them.

Has anyone listened to the radio broadcast? I know it's early, but the play by play guy seems to be struggling. The little I have listened to has been frustrating. He seems like he can't keep up with the pace of the game, and is either behind or completely missing what's going on. I also noticed a lot of mistakes or just wrong information in what he is saying. Luckily I rarely listen, just on my way to work occasionally, but I found myself getting frustrated as he isn't clearly explaining what's going on.

I'll give him a break. He's used to calling games for Virginia.

I had similar thoughts. His voice, while a good PBP voice, seems so distant from the action. And maybe I’m used to Ted being so into it, but I haven’t been a huge fan. That said, it’s early, and I wasn’t sure about BA when he started

At the BC radio guys were relocated up to a suite from courtside. Is it the same at FiServ? Ted talked about that it was a tough transition. So it's possible the new guy is having a similar adjustment. If you're used to calling games courtside and now you're far from the action that could affect your call.
If the radio guys are now courtside at FF it doesn't matter.

They are between the bowls off the court.
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

Ted really went off the deep end on the radio everyday. Dude just went from somewhat entertaining to absolute boring tired takes day after day. I cant stand any of the local guys currently.

I think I’m in the minority that thinks she’s done okay so far. Now that Stephen Bardo guy? Absolutely terrible.

Lol, folks around here trashed Jim for years. The guy retires and then he became the GOAT. Byington has been fine.

All my streams end up having the opposing team's broadcast so I have no complaints about Byington.
