If the news is true that Pat is costing the MLE or whatever its called clearly not good. Although I saw some comments from a Matt Valquez tweet saying it might be part of early bird rights if the 2nd year is guaranteed?

I've been quiet because I have no idea what the hell is going on.

I will see who is on the roster on opening night but overall the ineptitude of this franchise is baffling...

Finally figured out Jon Horst's RealGM account, and I guess you can add "Poet Laureate" right underneath the "FedEx Manager" line on his resume.

This is good news. It gives us a chance to upset the 4th seed in the first round.

He posted that last night, no longer the case. He walked it back about an hour ago.

Somewhat related, but we have to have the most worthless group of reporters/writers of any team.

Praying for a better outcome than the above but it's hard to see. At least if Giannis signs the supermax it gives us a little extra juice in terms of recruiting but the only reason he would at this point is blind loyalty.

Giannis doesn't seem to be much of a recruiter.

This forum indeed is a top notch thinking Bucks tank, even if people disagreeing. We Love the Bucks and we post our opinion on how to improve.

It does fit but we’d have to remove the option.

Apparently he forgot the part where Jrue bolts next year. The Bucks are capped out and can't bring anyone in and then Giannis demands to be traded. Yea.

That is literally the only reason. Hope I'm wrong but I have no idea where the confidence surrounding him resigning is coming from..

What is our sales pitch? How do we improve the team in the future? The answer needs to be better than "Well, c'mon you're Giannis! Guys will want to come play with you, Big Guy!"

I'm trying to be positive, I really am.

Velazquez just takes national media tweets and re-brands them as his own.

I imagine the Bucks front office discussions playing out like the plan scene in Guardians of the Galaxy:

<Begin scene>

Quill (Horst): I have a plan.

Rocket (Bud): You've got a plan? Okay, first of all, you're copying me from when I said I had a plan.

Horst: I'm not copying you, I have a plan, that's not that unique of a thing to say.

Bud: And secondly, I don't think you even have a plan.

Horst: I have part of a plan.

Drax (Alex Lasry): What percentage of a plan do you have?

Gamora (Marc Lasry): You don't get to ask questions after the nonsense you pulled with Woj!

Alex: I just saved us Giannis!

Horst: We've already established that you leaking info is not saving Giannis.

Alex: When did we establish that?

Horst: Like three seconds ago!

Alex: Well I wasn't listening then, I was thinking of something else...

Bud: Marc's right, you don't get an opinion... What percentage?

Horst: I dunno... Twelve percent?

Bud: Twelve percent?

[starts laughing]

Horst: That's a fake laugh.

Bud: It's real!

Horst: Totally fake!

Bud: That is the most real, authentic, hysterical laugh of my entire life because THAT IS NOT A PLAN!

Marc: It's barely a concept.

Horst: [to Marc]  You're taking their side?

Groot (Milt Newton): I am Milt.

Bud: So what, "It's better than eleven percent!" What the hell does that have to do with anything?

Horst: [to Milt]  Thank you Milt, thank you. See? Milt's the only one of you who has a clue.

<End scene>

Why is (a) good news? What is the point of keeping Giannis in this team?

Also it is debatable if (b) is good news, given what the Bucks had to give up when they could not pair that move with a player like Bogdan.

Seriously! Frank, who has an entirely different career, is the best source of information surrounding cap info and where we stand.

We're going to be the Michael Redd Bucks again starting in 2021-2022, and Khris Middleton will be staring as Michael Redd.

Maybe we can get some "are they moving to Seattle" thrown in there just for fun.

I'm still gonna watch, though.
