One of these poverty teams might totally screw us on bringing Brook back. Would not blame him one bit for taking it if someone offers him a wild bag.

Josh Giddey should be referred to as "Buck Target" Josh Giddey from now on haha.

It would be a crazy choice on their part. Gotta just congratulate Brook in that case and move on.

Been super busy. I could write some and just DM them to you so you can always find one if you need one. Ha, RiotPunch needs penis.

I would love that.

Ugh, you’re going to make me work? You ****. I’ll see what I can do. Not tonight, maybe this weekend, maybe not at all. Write your own, they’re not that hard. SEE HOW EASY IT IS?

“Buck target” Giddey, so OKC fans are really referring to him as that?

Could this be a S&T maybe?

Can't tell if you are going with the bit or not.

OKC has a boatload of cap space and can afford to overpay for a guy like Lopez for a couple of years until they have to extend core pieces like Giddey, who I referred to as a "Buck target."

Lol yeah I fell for it :banghead:

Lakers rumored to be willing to move the 17th pick. Any chance they’re dumb enough to trade it for Grayson?

Giannis supposedly came out strongly in favor of bringing in the heady Australian. Don't have a link, but apparently saw a teaser headline attributing a directive from the 2-time MVP reading "Buck Star: Get Giddey!" feel free to use no big deal

That would almost certainly need to be Portis. I would want more than just #17, though. Portis for Vandy/#17 has been discussed and I would consider it. Or offer that package to NYK for Quickley. I just want Quickley, IDK if you can tell.

As much of a joke as it is, that is the type of deals we need to be looking at.

Also, now you should put in on the general board.

^^I read an article in the Athletic recently. A bunch of front office types were polled and most believe Quickley is going to get a contract in the neighborhood of 4/$100 to 5/$125 million. I honestly don't think the Bucks can afford to pay him.

We definitely *can* but it would require some work next offseason. Much easier work if it is after another title.

This is the reason why he might be available via trade with our mediocre assets. Knicks paying $100M for their 6th man is a tough sell.

Is the going rate these days seriously 25 million? A spark plug bench guy thus far in his career who shoots well every couple games (better at home btw, hence his role), but still a career 41%’er. This league, sheesh. Potential I get that aspect, but I’m sure Knicks fans would have loved consistent contribution from a 25 million caliber per year player. I’d rather find the next version of that archetype at a cheaper price.
Go Bucks!

A 5 year contract at this point is functionally front-loaded because it bridges the next TV deal.

Brook getting a massive deal somewhere else could be a bit of a stroke of luck - he's still really good but 35. He can get one last huge payday and we can start figuring out what this team is going to look like post-Lopez while avoiding the aging big issue altogether.

I'm not sure Giddey is a good fit, not a floor stretcher and frankly his hair is too good. Would make Giannis jealous.
