Reminds me when Heat poked Jokic ... then he just destroyed them and win a title ... same with the Indy tunnel ... oh my Giannis ... he is going to destroy them and I will be watching them bleed and cry smiling ...

In fact Hali poked Lillard too ... I am sure Lillard is not cool anymore with it ... it is getting personal .... perfect motivation for our two top75 all time.

They did us a HUGE favour and they don't even know it ... HUGE MOTIVATION spark ... thanks INDY

The same Bucks security dude that handed the ball to Indiana , was the same that was holding Giannis back .... He should get fired imo ... Could there be money involved "stealing" that collectible ball? I don't trust this security AT ALL ... get him out of my team... He clearly went after the ball and handed it to Indy seconds later... call INDY to hire him there...

OK , maybe not fire him cause he probably feeds his family ... but for sure remove him from his current court side job... let him check the tickets at the gates or something

HIlarious the narrative was smashed about the we didnt know gaslighting bs the pacers tried to pull last night. Leaked audio has them looking like punks. Keep that ball and crap like that. Rick Carlise should be embarrassed. Also anyone believing this bruised rib story cause I sure aint, ive slammed onto my ribs skiing tons of times and the bruise never shows up til the next day. Certainly not 5 minutes later.

Defense definitely looked better executed last night (yay! only 18 fastbreak points allowed!), but I'm still incredibly skeptical that something requiring this much energy to expend is sustainable. There were still too many instances of Beasley, Middleton, Dame, etc. ending up underneath the basket trying to contest a big. Still way too many times we saw Bobby aggressively trapping several feet above the 3PT line.

If everyone's on the exact same page then it can be incredibly effective, but it's a philosophy/scheme that has such a slim margin of error. One guy's a step too late, and you either get someone wide open in the corner or under the basket. Still think if we just play more teams straight up, focus on cutting off drives/penetration and in general just staying in front of your man, we'd already have the floor of an above-average defense. Break out the aggressive switching/trapping stuff when you need to.

I think Giannis and everyone else involved has moved on about the dumb ball stuff way faster than the board
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

But the only way you'll get to the point where you can reliably break out the aggressive switching/trapping stuff is by getting enough reps that your team can do them well.

I live for the nights like last night, love a good non game related sports story. Plus now we have a new rival. Havent hated the pacers since Reggie Miller was on the team was what my buddy texted me last night. NBA needs more rivalry's.

Defense looked very slightly better last night but I'm not convinced yet.
Do we know when Pat and Jae come back?

At the very least we are practicing more variety in our defense. Zone has improved. Probably a good idea to use the zone before game 1 of the playoffs. Overall having experienced different options can only help for the playoff grind

I’d be fine with that as a base defense. Especially if it eliminates going over on screens, like when they had Beas going over the top on a screen 30 feet from the rim on Hali last night, which lead to an easy dunk.

Just eliminate the aggressive stuff outside of the three point line on D and they’d be so much better containing and rebounding. Maybe they get torched from deep if someone gets on a heater, but so be it.

Ironically, I was joking in the 3rd quarter that Giannis wouldn't get 50 against the Pacers this time because we were actually playing good defense and it wasn't the final 5 minutes of the 4th quarter.

The defense did look noticeably solid and better than usual for some extended stretches last night.

Hopefully it is a sign of future improvements.

This board did have a Tobias Harris trade thread for about 3 years after he left.

Nope , Giannis was upset that someone ate a couple of oreos from his cookie jar ... he will never forget the day Pacers stole his Franchise Record ball

And most of us still really dislike JJ Redick because he got here and decided to mail it in.

And as if that wasn't bad enough, Redick also didn't have Giannis in his top 3 current NBA players when Giannis was fresh off of scoring 50 in a championship clinch.

As much as Embiid flails and flops, I will always have a certain amount of respect for him checking Redick on that.

I am sure everyone here has seen it but......

I find it memeable that some people actually entertained the idea of him becoming our head coach, or an NBA head coach period.

Tbf to JJ on that one, he did mention not too long after that he felt bad about that comment, and that he'd clearly take Giannis #1. And that he had to include Embiid and KD in the top 3 because they were doing podcasts with both at the time, and when Embiid challenged him to specify the 3rd guy he was caught off guard and just threw out a name (Jokic).

Starting the rumor that blaming the Bucks is part of some Fargo-esque scheme to cover up farcical murder-related injuries.

Best part of the leaked video is that is the first time in his career that Myles Turner has stopped Giannis from getting exactly what he wanted.

People pretend he’s some great mobile rim protector (and slandered Brook for years with hypothetical trades sending Brook out to land Turner) while he’s actually the interior leader of one of the worst paint defenses ever.

Yeah, it's just funny that you're so impotent on the court that you literally have to steal the ball to feel better about yourself. Rage quit NBA style.
