Refs are playing right into Maryland’s hands the way this is being called.

Look…I know I am biased in defending Wisconsin’s style most years when most didn’t like how slow it was. But what Maryland does under the former Seton Hall guy is unwatchable. Try to play defense so close to fouling every play and force them to blow the whistle. Build your entire offense around plowing into guys to draw a foul. This is brutal.

You're not wrong but want to acknowledge the reflexivity

Storr is in Johnny Davis “20% from 3 in February and March” mode.

Hilarious makeup call there after an entire half of letting Maryland barrel over guys. Chucky goes down with a stiff wind and gets one.

I swear, sometimes this team looks like they have never seen another team play a zone before.

No movement, no back screens, nothing. Just dribble in place and look at each other.

I was trying to make an Adrian Griffin joke. Seton Hall guy and unwatchable style.

Maryland - 0 FG for 6 minutes... got 2 points closer on the scoreboard.

Jumping on a choppy stream that frequently kicked me out was the correct vehicle for viewing this game. Hard watch two times over.

"Tough break for Maryland" after the most egregious armbar push-off I have ever seen goes uncalled on the other end.

Not the prettiest, but it's a W.

I'll be honest. I had no idea Mark Turgeon wasn't the Maryland coach until just now. You could have convinced me that it was Gary Williams.

Klesmax picking his nose after the first and calmly drains the second.

I’m not going to blame the Badgers for the last 2 minutes of it getting close. Congrats to Maryland’s garbage shooters for catching fire. That said, another performance that was not entirely inspiring.

I’ll go back to a post from a few weeks ago. I think in the transfer era where everybody is playing optimally with analytics, the Badgers just don’t have a huge edge anymore in beating other teams being ahead of the curve in analytics. And the past 2 years have shown that they still play fairly well, but once the other teams that have more physical talent gel and play more efficiently, they fall back in the 2nd half of the season, they have no edge.

This team could be the #5 seed out in round one or in a good bracket reach the final four.
